Beautiful place. Serene and spiritual. Do visit if you are in Mysore. A quick walk from the parking will take you through a lot of small stalls to the main entrance. There is a ticket counter at the right side. (Tip: buy 30 rupee ticket) Gives you a quick access into the temple.

The temple is very divine and beautiful. The only problem here is whatever things you take or wherever you go, they will ask you for dakshina in the name of god all the time.

Nice place to visit during week days,on weekends it will be crowded. You get a really nice view of Mysuru from the hilltop, especially during night. There are a lot of local vendors in the market on the way to the hills, where you can purchase souvenirs. The pay and use public restrooms were well-maintained.
