I have also done Jankar Yatra from Chaliam to Beypur and it is a very exciting journey. My friends and I reached Chaliatu by car and went to Jangar with the car and went to Veypur and only about 300 meters to Veypur. We went there a few years ago to travel for a small amount of money, but there was no service there then we went back. Anyway, the trip was a special experience for us. I still have to go.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Jankar service between Chaliyam and Beypore, and I must say it was a time-saving experience. Being able to drive my vehicle onto the Jankar made the journey incredibly convenient. Instead of taking the longer route, I cut a significant amount of travel time by utilizing this service.

Never plan to go this way on holidays . Very crowded and extremely narrow roads . Had to wait 2+ hrs to get ferry. One trip can contain hardly 6/7 vehicles. And one ferry in service for both way !

During our recent trip visiting interesting places in Kozhikode, we happened to travel by the jankar service. It was the first time we were travelling by a jankar. It was interesting to see the line of cars waiting to drive onto the boat in reverse to avoid hitting the underside of the car. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.

Very Nice place to visit, good water ambience. The Jankar service is better with cheap rate without boring waiting time.
