previously it was nice place.. but now the municipal Corporation do not maintain it properly. though the place is very big and good to chill in evening

Its a big lake in Rampurhat, birbhum with all the sides metaled. It is surrounded by big rice mills one of them is called Sita-Ram rice mill. In older days this lake was used to wash the rice which further goes to the mill and shipped to diffrent regions og the country and outside the country as well. The lake is now surrounded by a very big residential area, and is approximately 2 kms from the Rampurhat railway station.

A large pond by the roadside.. easily spotted.. with cemented surrounding edges for beautification initiative
