Chal Kabira - Tour operator in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

I have done North East trip in the last of Dec 2021. Booking and accommodation went smooth. However they initially informed the trip would be in Innova but finally ended up in tempo traveller as the number of people have increased now. I got to know abt this info on the day before the actual trip started, and had no other option to just go with the flow. Was unwell for the first 2 days just adjusting to the tempo traveller. Also, our trip plan changed as they dint find rooms in Shillong so we had to travel from Kaziranga to Chirapunjee on the same day which was more than 9 hours of travel. They tried to cover all important places which is a plus. The way they made our group was good. We all became good travel buddies now. Overall trip daily plan was a fail, but accommodation n places covered is a plus.

With the price of our package I was not expecting hotels to be amazing but when we reached Bhutan hotels, we found them all to be 4 stars! The drivers they provided were very friendly and helpful. The management of entire trip was done perfectly by chal Kabira, we didn't face even single problem during our entire trip. The person handling our trip(Rahul) also suggested restaurants to eat at and that made our experience even better. What can I say about the beauty of Bhutan, simply mesmerising. One of the best trip of my life.

Chal Kabira helped us plan and execute our first-ever trip to Kashmir in April 2022. Things that stood out for CK were their hospitality and positive attitude to keep the itinerary flexible. As soon as we reached Srinagar, Umer treated us at Le Delice, a popular bakery. We stayed at one of the best properties at all places (Srinagar, Dal lake, Aru valley) in a peak season. Apart from the best cars, driver friends (Jaan uncle and Rafique bhai) and Kashmiri cuisine, Umer also helped us to organise a friend's birthday on a houseboat. Umer and Akram were always in contact with me to see how was the group vibing on a daily basis. I wish to plan another trip with CK soon.

Superb experience. Value for every penny. Everest Base Camp was amazing. The guides were reliable and knowledge. The stays were comfortable and convenient. I would love to go with you guys again. Highly recommended.

Premium Disappointment holiday, read this only if you want to save yourself from disappointment and stress on a holiday. Tour operators who do not know the ground reality of the place where they operate and lack the skills of co-ordination with the tourists and their own team members. Mr Rahul does not conduct the tour by the Chal Kabira, he hires a 3 party to do the tour. He does not co-ordinate with 3 party ( Distant Holiday, Kashmir), he only collects the money. He charges Rs 29,000 per person, as per him premium holiday. Premium Disappointment. The primary reason to go to Kashmir was Tulip garden, this was specifically mentioned while booking the tour. We did not visit the garden as it was closed. Reason : They do not know the exact dates for the garden, neither are they updated with news. We as tourist informed them about closure of the garden. The 3rd party decides the location, the drivers decides the itinerary. In Gulmarg we did not get to see the snow, when whole of Gulmarg was covered in snow. Chal Kabira, nor Sumera, from Distant Holiday, Kashmir and driver do not co-ordinate with each other about the places covered during the day. Sumera (Distant Holidays, Kashmir) does not have the driver's number to ensure the safety of the travelers. On our way back from Palagham we were stopped by the men in uniform, the driver was questioned as to why he was taking this route. Apparently, this was an unsafe route for tourist, to go through the village. We were at the mercy of the driver and my tour guide has no clue. This is Unacceptable. The driver stops at a place where there are only private tour operators. We were not informed of government tour operators (prepaid taxi with fixed rates) from particular points. If it was mentioned there is prepaid cars available to go to the points which will have a fixed price, we would not have paid above the fixed rate. This is double price. Chal Kabira and Sumera ((Distant Holidays, Kashmir) has no clue about prepaid taxis. Important - During Eid holidays do not go as small tour groups, as local drivers are not interested to spend their holiday on entertaining tourist We had bad experience due Chal Kabira and Sumera (Distant Holiday).

Had gone for Manali-Leh-Srinagar bike trip with Chal Kabira. One of the best trips of my life. The trip was so amazing and worthy it. Chal Kabira Team was friendly and know alot about the places we visited. One must really consider Chal for such trips.

Our group booked the EBC trek in 2018 and it was a wonderful experience, right from our stay in one of the coolest hostels in Kathmandu to making us shop in the local market themselves and bargaining with the shops or our trek equipment , the team supported us throughout our journey . The itinerary they have is well planned , good network with the tea houses for stay. Overall we had a very memorable experience .

Hampta Pass Trek was my first solo trek with Chal Kabira. It was an amazing experience and the entire journey was well organised. Looking forward to many more adventures with them!
