Chabimura boating offers a stunning, unexplored slice of nature, but its true potential is yet to be unlocked. Government support and improved facilities are crucial here, as they could transform this place into an international tourist hotspot.
During my visit, I noticed some existing amenities like shops and washrooms, but they fell short of expectations. The bathrooms were disappointingly unclean, which can mar the overall experience. Moreover, the food options were severely limited, catering mainly to non-vegetarians.
On a positive note, it's wonderful that you could bring your furry friends along, and they seemed to enjoy the boat ride. However, the boat's cleanliness left much to be desired, even though you had it reserved exclusively.
In summary, Chabimura boating possesses immense potential, but it needs substantial improvements to reach its full glory. Addressing hygiene concerns and diversifying food offerings would significantly elevate the visitor experience and make it a must-visit destination.
Absolutely mind blowing place. It has a long cave system, large part of which is still unexplored. Beautiful works on the stone walls of the hills, deep forest and a river like as if it is part of Amazon's rever system. The only sad thing is Govt's shutted eyes on sites like this and if you visit there, please know you will probably die if you fall in the water, and there are no safety system or measure at all to save you, not even life-jackets are provided. From where you will start the journey, at that point a Shiva mandir is also set up, probably by the local population, which is also beautiful.
Chabimura the is definitely a hidden gem of and very least explored archaeological site on the banks of Gomati river. This is a must recommend place when you are in Agartala. We visited this place around the afternoon at around 1pm and there were no much tourists at that time so the boat was costing bit expensive for 4 of us and we were almost about to drop the place thinking it's not worth but with good negotiating skills we finally made it and definitely that was a good decision of missing it out It was all worth it.. And also there a hidden cave hike of around 1km were the speed boat spots which was a amazing experience.

Chobi Mura is otherwise a very beautiful place but I feel there is so much room for development & maintenance.
Although I appreciate the work done on the road to Chabimura...previously it was very risky but now even a Nano can reach there easily.

A must visit for anyone visiting Agartala. It's 85kms from Agartala but it's worth it to visit it.
It's a must visit in Tripura, though lost of people used to visit Unakoti, I will rate this place before unakoti. Boat ride to reach this place is also very satisfying. But again this spot is also not maintained like all place of interest in tripura.
