This place was empty when I walked in and had a lower lighting entrance from the outside but with an established date from the 1800's on the outside, I had to stop in. The staff beater with me as I am an English speaker and do not know Malayalam. I came in looking for silks and left with 2.5 meters each of two lovely fabrics with patterns that will make eye catching summer shirts. They had a lot of selection and I would recommend anyone to stop in who is looking to buy textiles. Their ready made section for men was very small but sedition for making shoe on my own was pretty good
My mother got two salwar unstitched materials from Chakola. She wore one of it and the underarm area got mixed colours. Really disappointed in paying money and receiving cloths that fade out its colours.
Worst experience ever..They don't even know how to speak to customers. The owner lady was so rude when we asked if an exchange was possible. Its okay if they refuse to exchange but they could have politely tell us that. This happened the same day I purchased the item and spend about Rs.30,000. I didn't have time to go to other shops that is why I came here and bought this saree even though they are charging double the market price and they say it is from Lucknow and all. I agree that they have good collection but over expensive. I can buy these sarees online with same quality.But bought from here bcz of limited time. Giving a star bcz no option to give 0 or negative.
Not for men. Maybe a good place for ladies clothing, mainly ethnic wears and exotic colours. Not A ir Conditioning
Super best with reasonable rates. I incidentally went to check availability of curtain clothes but, that was something amazing.compared to near shop rates are also pretty reasonable
Stopped by here a few weeks ago while discovering the older part of the town and was pleasantly surprised with their collection. Bought a beautiful saree for my mom and two dress materials for myself that I absolutely love. The staff were really great too, very friendly and well-mannered. 10/10 recommend this place if you find yourself in Thrissur.

Easily one of the best stores for designer sarees in Thrissur. The store was recommended by a friend and I'm glad that I visited the place. My wife was completely bowled over by their collection. Definitely recommended!
