Doctors and staff are good but the coordination needs to improve. I have visited for Cataract surgery for my mother the appointment they gave is at 9:30am but the procedure begins at 12:30 pm. Since my mother is having diabetic as well as high blood pressure it's very difficult to wait such a long time without having any food or water also it's very difficult for elderly people. Another important thing is the security staff is not good enough to manage the car parking. He is not available most of the time. We need to manage ourselves .

Visiting chaithanya Eye hospital for the first time . Here all the Doctors and Staff are very friendly ,kind and supporting. The hospital has its own pharmacy and good optical showroom for all the patients. Good parking facilities, the hospital has good and neat environment. I thank all the Staff &Doctors for their Excellent job. Wishing you all the best for the future.

Had two cataract surgeries for my Parents, everything was smooth. OT staffs took care of my elderly parents while they were in OT and communicated their updates to us in regular intervals. Staffs were knowledgeable and swift while taking care of the entire process. My insurance claim forms were shared with me filled in couple of days and i was able get to 95% of the claimed amount .

My first visit to this chaithanya eye hospital kottayam center. First step inside made me feel different world of ophthalmology.Nice hospital with co-operative staff equipped with latest technologies.the diagnosis was good. Good place to get your eyes treated and gain confirmation if you go for a routine checkup at times. There are more facilities...there is very good reception staff they can manage all front office work very fastly . optometrists examine the eyes carefully.Nursing staffs manage other work's in the doctors room as well as in the nursing station. The pharmacy which contain all medicines for eye diseases.I highly recommend the optical shop at this hospital. In addition to the large assortment of brands, it was extra special to have so much help and care from the knowledgeable staff. I can recommend this hospital if needed in future. Thank you all for helping me to get rid of my eye problem forever.

Don't actually find ways to grade it holistically. Can't say I liked it or can't say I disliked it. But essentially the experience has ben disheartening not disappointing. While there could be many who find the hospital good very good or excellent I would rate it based on my personal experience over two consecutive days. Let me explain. One goes to a private or corporate hospital for better patient engagement care and management. To Start with, parking can be a problem. But it's manageable. The guy at the door is brilliant. Courteous efficient and seems to wear many hats. So don't fret if he's Not there. Maybe he has gone wheeling a patient. The problem was with the reception. With three or four executives seated one expected efficiency. But they made me feel as though they were doing me a favour. It took me about 25 mins for the unfriendly curt and impolite lady at the counter to register the patient whom I carried. Just couldn't digest her behaviour. The doctor was good. She explained the medical condition to us in her own way. Though she sounded very impersonal, I suppose professionals can choose their way. Maybe she didn't like my asking questions. I have NO reasons to complain. I feel it's ok to ask. In fact, patients must ask all the questions they feel they should ask. Another issue that put me off was tne sense of holding back information. Also I felt we were being goaded into the facility to order the glasses from within. If that's a marketing strategy, it's pretty bad strategy. Adminstration must seek to reform it. Having studied human behaviour from close range, I think the hospital is doing itself a disservice not seeming to share. I am in two minds about utilising the hospital for myself again. Hope the administration ACTUALLY reads it rather than outsourcing reading comments and does something about it.

Very bad service. I visited the place in need of contact lenses. I called them a day before and asked whether I should took an appointment. Since they told me not to prior book any appointment I came on 20/7/2023 like they said. But when I reached there the reception staff on duty and also one staff from nurses station were not sure about my appointment and they were blabbering to me .. very very pathetic service. Being a doctor I myself know how important is to co-ordinate patient details. Feeling ppitty
