Chaarcoal's Family Restuarant - Indian restaurant in Vidyagiri - Dakshina Kannada, India

Very attractive name that attracts customers. This restaurant / fast food is on the highway 169 at Alangar near Moodbidri. The inner seating section is quite small; however, the outside or open seating is very huge. It was full on a Sunday afternoon, filled with students. We ordered for Sandwich, Pizza, cold coffee, and a juice. The Pizza was okay. The sandwich was good in taste; however, the bread was completely broken and came in pieces when we pick it up to eat. Service is quite slow and seemed like they were short of waiters. The place is a littly pricey.

The menu doesn't have fixed prices. The billing counter person add his own prices. Upon that they serve very less quantity. Totally felt unworthy. Finally the billing is also done wrong - when ordered panner tikka biryani, they added chicken tikka biryani price and billed. Not at all recommended

I ordered Vegetable Sizzler. It was sizzling at the bottom but it was cold on the top. I expected to get a lot of vegetables in the Veg Sizzler but I just got fried rice that wasn't even that hot or even salted properly. Not many vegetables. Definitely do not recommend the Veg Sizzler here.

Food is Tasty; we all liked the variety of tasty items. but service can be improved as it is very slow.

Excellent tasty food ,we never miss it while passing through moodabidri highway to karkala , actually , while passing through padubidre is easy way to karkala ,but we prefer this hotel ,so we divert this way

Frankly speaking atmosphere is good need to improve a lot in food, we ordered dum biriyani as the waiter said it's one of their top selling product, but cannot be given a star for the Dum Biriyani. Then ordered Chicken Hakka noodles I can't say anything other than not a recommended place for these two dishes

One of my favourite place to eat non veg .. good vibes and family friendly.. less waiters so sometimes delay in service.. but the food is amazing try biriyani must... Weekends gets crowded .. sometimes parking becomes problem but after all struggle food gives the satisfaction that's most important thing..

Good place to have a dinner. You may found higher price for dishes but it worths for money.
