Ch. Birender Singh, Sir Chhotu Ram's maternal grandson got built a 64 feet statue by Ch. Chhotu Ram Trust - Rohtak, highest in Haryana, at his birth site, Garhi Sampla. This statue was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9 October 2018. Sir Chhotu Ram, (born Ram Richpal; 24 November 1881 - 9 January 1945) was a prominent politician in British India's Punjab Province, an ideologue of the pre-Independent India, who belonged to the Jat community and championed the interest of oppressed communities of the Indian subcontinent. For this feat, he was knighted in 1937. On the political front, he was a co-founder of the National Unionist Party which ruled the United Punjab Province in pre-independent India and kept Congress and Muslim League at bay.

Very Decent Park in Sampla Area. There is good seating arrangements. You can Park your vehicles Inside the Park. There is no toilet facilities. Water facilities needs improvement, Grasses are not in Proper shape. Overall good park for family.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the 56-foot-tall metal statue of peasant leader Sir Chhotu Ram at his birthplace Garhi Sampla in Rohtak. Famed sculptor and recipient of Padma Bhushan Ram V Suthar has been engaged for the project. Amit Kajal, district president of Chhotu Ram Vichar Manch, 7.5 tonnes of iron was collected from across Haryana to build the statue to be installed at the Chhotu Ram museum in Sampla. This would replace the earlier smaller structure of the leader installed there in and would also be visible from a distance. Amit said the foundation measuring 22-feet.

Nice place to hang out in Sampla. Need few updations like no entry for bikes and stray cattles be allowed in the park.
