CGS Veterinary Hospital - Animal hospital in Gurugram - Gurugram, India

CGS Veterinary Hospital gave me a glimpse of how my vet. Life gonna be after graduation. I am very much pleased and positive all thanks to the beloved doctors and staff members who guided me on every step during my internship period.

I had gone to CGS Hospital on 20Aug 23 at around 1600h; for the grooming of my pet Bira(A male siberian Husky). The grooming dept of CGS precisely took 45 min for the complete grooming which was their premium package 'B'. amounting to Rs 2150. It included shampoo, nail trim, ear cleaning, Anal Gland cleaning and conditioner. First of all, they dont have any proper place for a pet parent to see how they are treating their pet. They asked me to either sit under a tree on a steel bench or go to the reception of the hospital. I was apprehensive of their work without supervision. As i had expected, after just 45 min, they declare that the grooming is over. When i checked, i found that they dont put serum after drying. They had not clipped the nails properly. The additional hair in the Paw was also not cut. The didn't even bother to trim the bum hair. The package i paid for included hair conditioning. Dont even know whether they used it or not because the hair of my pet were all frizzy and dry. Even they had not removed the old hair. The old shedded hair were all stuck up in the coat. They just brushed his coat a few times; even their blower was not powerful enough to make the hair go away. When i objected and told them that see when you rub your hand over the coat, a lot of hair is still coming out; rather than correcting their slip shoddy work, they started lecturing me and telling me to keep my pet in a cooler... and that dematting should have been taken as an addon in the package... They dont even know what is the defination of dematting..coz there were no knots on my pet's coat. They only are into money making business and advertising addons... Even when i reported the matter at the reception and asked for their manager ; this gentleman just arrives, listens to everything and thereafter just hands me over a feedback proforma. Oh i forgot, the towels they use for drying your pet are very unhygenic, old and look shabby. They even share the towel amongst pets; which they spread on the table. Their grooming table lacks leash holding mechanism. Unfortunately i saw it once the grooming was already done. They dont put paw butter; or mouth freshner nothing of that sort; only charge premium for pathetic services... To further add to the matter; No apologies.. No corrective actions.. no remorse. I had to just walk away after having got a pathetic treatment there. I have literally wasted my money, There's no apology; no refund; nothing of that sort till date... only when i will publicly review, will someone just text false apologies / sorry and excuses....They dont mean anything. I have advised them to actually go to a decent pet grooming place like 'Critterati' where they should at least learn their job and leran how to pamper a pet buddy. Just shampoo bath and cloth drying does not mean grooming... Attaching my feedback form to which they have done nothing so far for everyone's benefit.. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET; DONT EVER THINK OF GROOMING HIM HERE.... The photos of my pet (frayed dry hair and hair sticing over the coat) is after their manager has seen everything and having dine nothing other than hand me a feedback form !!!

The most irresponsible and inhuman place for pets. And also very unhygienic. They admitted my pet for CT scan, took all day long for it. And then they send my pet back home without even removing her plastic catheter from the vein. I happen to open the dressing so that she can sleep peacefully. And to my surprise I see the plastic catheter there. How irresponsible!! -------------------------------------------- And now CGS, in response to your reply after a week let me tell you as a pet parent I am very much responsible and hence at the time of discharge at least 4 times at the reception I asked for a doctor! And the lady responded all are busy. I wanted to meet the doctor to understand how the procedure went, when can I feed my child and is she ok for discharge. No doctor is available- was the response. I myself entered inside and saw Dr.Mony who did the blood test 2 days back. I then spoke to her. And! I had taken my child out for a pee and my mother told Mr. Akhilesh I will bring her back! And he said "NOT NEEDED, YOU CAN LEAVE". In front of him we put our baby in the car and left. So, who is responsible and who is not is something you guys need to look into. And I have shared the entire thing with Mr. Deep Maan. Inspite of which you are writing a response which makes no sense.

Good clean place. Great doctors polite friendly staff and excellent facilities for your pets. I've been going there for the past eight years and the hospital has become even better with time. There is ample parking space, a pharmacy with medicines and other paraphernalia for your pets, excellent pet grooming services, clean modern washrooms and even a vending machine for coffee and tea. The new wing that was recently opened has state of the art Operation Theatres, pet boarding facilities and a separate section for cats as well. They even have dental and ophthalmology departments for your fur-babies now!

I visited here for the regular checkup and pregnancy diagnosis of my cats. The front desk staff was really frustrating and management was poor. They took more than 2 hours for the checkup and asked us to wait in the reception. If you try to do any enquiry they will not respond. The lady sitting on the front desk doesn't knew how to print the receipt for ultrasound she took 20 minutes to search ultrasound in the software. They only know how to ask for payment, they will not let you do anything without payments done, and even after payment for each and every process you have to wait for minimum 1 hr. Charges are way too much. Medicines I purchased were present on Amazon in half rate. Grooming packages are super duper expensive. You can easily find good packages somewhere else. Talking about doctors, they were unaware about cats, didn't knew a single thing (hopefully they knew about dogs). Doctor who was attending my cats asked the help for another doctor and then they both were searching on google something. I was shocked completely. That was my first and last visit, never going to that place ever again.

One of the best and cleanest animals Hospital Treatment is also good .. vet's are experienced Latest machines to diagnose Day boarding and boarding area were also clean and well managed It feels like you are in a resort with your fur babies Special shout out loud to cleaning staff moment there is dirt or dog do the nature call they instantly clean it... Easy to reach and a good parking place. Now, the area of improvement The more I loved CHS, the more I hate the front desk staff they are very rude .. they don't explain well Top of it, we have to chase again n again to get an update Lack of good packages for grooming n other treatment make it a little expensive They also have a pet shop where I found good quality products which would get better in future

Last year in November 2022 our 4 year old pug Kiki was diagnosed with Pyometra and we rushed her to CGS with her being in a bad way, extreme bleeding and terrible condition.. they immediately admitted her, ran tests rushed her to surgery and treated her.. the week that followed was the d worst time of our lives with Kiki recovering post surgery at cgs .. and us heartbroken by seeing her in pain. The hospital nursed our beautiful lil Kiki back to health, enough so we could bring her back home in a week. I am truly grateful and extremely thankful to Dr. Salisha, Dr. John and the staff at cgs for all that they've done over the months to help us and Kiki CGS truly is an excellent facility with absolutely wonderful and compassionate doctors and staff for pets and pet parents. I highly recommend this place for all ur pet needs.
