Central University Of Kerala Ladies Hostel(Kabani) Periya - Girl's Hostel in Chalingal - Kasaragod, India

Central university is near by N. H 66 Chalingal. Near about 10 Kilometers from Kanhangad -Kasargod Dist. Kerala.

Better to opt CUSAT OR OTHER UNIVERSITIES ...coz of the Fee's.i dont know why the sem fee is so high even it is own by central govt. Hostels are attractive,but hostel fee isn't.let me share you the fee for hostel admission registration fee: 740...seriously? Just for that registration you need 740 rs?.... Other thing is that you need to walk a lot to reach your department,coz it is hella vast campus Well after knowing all the fee and other money breakdown i lost my interest to opt CUK.thus after attempting cusat exam 2nd time,i cracked it and joined in cusat.... If you have 2000 rs.then you can live a medium luxury life in cusat,coz hostel fee and sem fee is competitively lower than CUK... I will recommend CUSAT/OTHER university than CUK anytime... Choice is yours ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR FUTURE

Its one among the 11 central universities, all over India. The foundation stone was lied on 2009 march and it has been 10 year after its foundation day. There are many department including arts and science. At present only post graduation courses are offered by the university, from the coming year UG courses will be offered. The admission of central university of Kerala is through entrance exam (CUCET) The notification for the exams will be available during the month of Feb to march in the official website. The atmosphere here in the university is beyond words. Hostel facilities are available within the campus. ATM, canteen etc are the extra facilities. The faculties here are all PhD holders. Many among them still work as research associate in many deemed universities in and out of country.

There are three hostels for ladies in CUK namely Kabani,Nila and Pamba.Of which Pamba has very good infrastructure and they have bigger rooms.The overall facilities for these hostel is good.The mess is also good so are the staff.There are security placed at the entry gate so it is safe.

Where you get fresh air... Good atmosphere...Enough space to sit and talk... Eventhough the rooms were congested you have enough space to study and sit outside the rooms..

The class held by CUK & DST was very nice. They provided our mess at kabani hostel. The food was very tasty
