Central Railway divisional Hospital ,kalyan - Government hospital in Kalyan - Thane, India

It is located on the east side of the Kalyan station between two Railway tracks going in NE and SE directions.120 beds of Divisional Railway Hospital, Kalyan is distributed among different wards viz., ICCU, Male Medical, Female Medical, Paediatric, Female Eye Ward, Female Orthopaedic, Female Surgical, Male Surgical, Male Orthopaedic, Male Eye Ward and Gynaec and Obstetric Ward. Medical Department of Mumbai division is headed by Chief Medical Superintendent, Kalyan and comprises of Divisional Hospital, Kalyan, Sub-Divisional Hospital, Igatpuri and Health Units situated at Mumbai CST, Parel, Matunga, Kurla, Thane, Kalva, Lonavala, Panvel and Juinagar. Mumbai Division caters to the need of approx. 3.9 Lac Railway beneficiaries( Railway employees approx. 40,000 + 8,900 Retired Rly. Employees and their dependent family members. Kalyan Hospital attained the status of Divisional Hospital in 1993-94. Gradually with the increase of workloads and the demand, the hospital started growing both in terms of number of beds as well as number of staffs and ultimately has attained the present status of 120-bedded hospital with sanction of 22 doctors and proportionate paramedical staffs.Jurisdiction of Mumbai Division Medical Department is from CST to Kalyan Main line, Kalyan to Igatpuri on NE section and to Lonavala on SE section, Diwa to Roha and Bhiwandi Road on branch lines and Panvel on Harbour line including Kalva - Thurbhe section.

Very bad hospital no doctors in opd We were asked to go in 18 no. Opd where that lady freakin khadus dr. Don't even know how to talk jhopadpati wali dr. Never even asked what the problem and wrote another opd no. 37 Where there is no .dr , railway either needs to change the staff or i am gonna tweet and make complaint about this ghatiya hospital and ghatiya 18 no. Opd wali lady dr.

I visited Center Railway Hospital Kalyan, my experience was like this. Neat and clean hospital, team of expert doctors for all diseases, calm and scenic environment..

As the name suggest its a central railway hospital - serving all the employee and their dependent family member.free of cost or very limited charges. Such as meal charges of patient , etc First of all the treatment provided is up to the mark the senior doctors and visiting doctors are well qualified . Most of the investigation are done here itself however we have to take the patient to other center for some specific test namely - 2D Echo to nearby hospital. Which the hospital does the appointment and transfer of patient. The support staff are very Cooperative But will rate this hospital 3 start because it lacks some basic hygiene and cleanliness. You can see street dogs are sitting near the reception and roaming in the general toilet on ground floor ( where near female toilet some bio hazard waste is kept in green polythene- which not a good to see the proper waste segregation; however dogs are tearing it up I guess due to the blood smell in them thinking some food item. This was observed in 10 June at 2230 hrs. Out side general ward male section on second floor you can smell bidi some. ( smoking in hospital varanda. For me this is very big no ). I guess should have demarcation smoking area outside the hospital limit.

Nurses and the cleaning staffs are not good they work but work like they didn't get pay for there work, they don't have manners to talk with patient and with their relatives.

Pathetic hospital with extremely rude behavior of docters and clerical staff. The medical registration clerk arrives after 10:30 , whereas the official timings are 9:00 am.

The OPD management is the absolute image of lack of punctuality, rude behavior, lack of crowd management tactics, even one of the physicians is not well-versed with handling patients with ease. Having to wait for more than 5 hours just for a 2 minutes consultation is not a patient would ever have to do. Have additional doctors for OPDs.

Worst,doctors don't have manners of speaking to patients ,they make sick patients run from 1 line to other ,no garuntee of proper treatment
