The place takes you back to History of Jhansi and raja Gangadhar Rao was a prominent figure of Jhansi history. Worth visiting place with family and young generation in order to know your past and form a connection with your city's history and rich culture!!!!! Place needs a maintenance and little upkeep.
This place has its historical significance, it is the tomb of Raja Gangadhar Rao of Jhansi. This tomb is constructed in the memory of king. Rani lakshmi bai used to come here. You should go and learn about it's history.
Beautiful and peaceful location in the city to witness the historical importance of jhansi. This is a very neglected monument but is very important and deserves the attention.
It's a place with a nice history..a good visit
On 02/02/2023 i visited the place and was under renovation (garden works i think), was able to enter the monument and explore. At 6.00 PM someone came and asked us to quit as it was closing time. There was no ticken when i visited.

This is a memorial of of Jhansi ki Rani Lakshmi Bai. This was built by the Rani Lakshmi Bai in memory of her husband. There is only a 'Chatri' out here along with a pond (or kalyani) and nothing much to see. There's also a Godess Lakshmi temple nearby which you could visit.
