Castle Rock Cafe, Chickamagalur - Cafe in Arenoor - Chikkamagaluru, India

From chikmangalore to mangalore via agumbe! (Coz we wanted a different route rather than the the same route we came through) And this journy was through muthodi side forest..but from the beginning itself we were too hungry(you might be knowing that we are morning people and breakfast is a must for us if you read our post before) but once you entered the forest you can hardly find any hotels or motels there So our eyes and mind started looking for a place where we can get some food.. and finally we found @castle rock cafe. Though it is a canteen like small motel, they are having homestay and their own coffee estate.. So that we can get pure coffee from there.. Though they are having a big menu,the only available items were bread omlet and cutlet. So we ordered for bread omlet. It was made by a retired officer(only that uncle was there) and it was a nice talk to him. And coming to bread omlet...it was sooo good may be because of our hunger(nothing can make a dish soo delicious than hunger ryt?) And after resting and refreshing for a while we started the journey from there (After food our next concern was fuel...it is better to keep a bottle full of petrol with you as you cannot find any fuel station there and we bought it from a stationary store! And we paid more for that

Good place to have coffee and tea along with snacks.

Place was clean..We went at 2 pm. Only coffee was there but we wanted food. So didn't had anything. Restaurant and rest room was clean

This is a nice cafe in the backyard of a coffee plantation facing the beautiful forest landscape. Coffe, Tea and light snacks is served here. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Mobile payments is also accepted here. Around 4 cars be parked in front of the cafe.

In ghat road long drive, a break to have high tea. Very beautiful place .. a natural oxygen bank.
