Castello's Coco Huts - Hotel in Benaulim - South Goa, India

Its beach-side huts.. Due to restaurant in front there is no beach view.. Room cleanliness: 0/5. Its a basic room where you can dump your stuff and roam around. It had a strange smell inside the hut..

Cheap and cheerful, on Benaulim beach. Not many know about this place. Excellent for staying for a few nights of boozing, biking and rogering Goan and Punjabi girls and women.

Basic but adequate. One minute walk to the beach which was fairly clean. Great bar/restaurant right next door and on the beach.

Awesome cheap huts right next to to beach. Really basic but that was all we needed. Perfect for backpackers on budget. Don't expect any luxury the place is really basic. Owner is nice and friendly.

Great location if you're looking for less crowds. Although there is still the sounds of thumping music late into the night. No wifi in or near the rooms, only at the nearby beach restaurant, but 4g coverage is good in this area. No drinking water offered ( I thought this was law now) Cute little huts on the sand but they're back from the beach, not with any view. There are mosquito nets over the beds but don't be fooled, these do not stop the mosquitoes getting in, they actually hold the mosquitoes inside and you get eaten alive, even if you get all the mosquitoes out of your net, you wake up and they're all inside again. Very very uncomfortable mattresses, woke up with a stiff back everyday. Imagine the pillows to be like a pillow case filled with 50 chunks of wool. There is some animal that steals my soap from the bathroom every day and I replace it to be taken again. Good instant hot water. English toilet and toilet paper was supplied. Bike parking is on sand and it's pretty tough to get a bigger bike in and out. In this area accommodation was very expensive so this was the best priced option but I think it's overpriced, you should still get a comfortable nights sleeps without being eaten by mosquitoes for 1000r.

It's probably the best value for money I have seen in Goa. The location is really good, right next to the beach, but hidden enough to have your own peace during the day. During the night however, it can get really loud (the bars in the area like to blast music late in the night). The non-AC rooms are made out of plywood, hence why they have no sound isolation, and no mosquito protection. Bed mosquito nets are provided, and can save you somewhat. The host is really helpful and attentive. For 1000rs, the non-AC room is amazing, and I truly recommend it!

We did the booking from agoda. The owner did not accept our booking. He said us that there are snakes and yesterday a snake bite the customer and he was hospitalized. He started to convince a stat this is not the right room and we should get another better room and also we should not book online through agoda. Hr also told us that we made a loss of him by booking online. The rooms are not clean. There were a couple of small lizards roaming in the hut. And there was no person around the heart so me and my wife where a little bit worried. After sitting for half an hour we could not stay there more so I had to book another hotel nearby as we were tired by 14hours driving. If you are heavy drinker coming with a friend then you can buy this Hut and get laid. But if you are coming with a family or wife or girlfriend you cannot stay here.

The owner is very rude and arrogant person, we had done booking through online but he denied our booking, thats totally ok but the way he behave is totally unprofessional. I have stayed in many hotels and homestay but this should be my wosrt experience that i had ever faced. He talked to us like he is threatening, its totally unethical, i thought of visiting police station but he mentioned he works at police station itself. Anyway just stay away from this place, if you're coming from outside of India looking similar stay in goa, my suggestion would be stay near agonda or palolem that would be better.
