Casa Galgibaga - Home Stay in Canacona - South Goa, India

Loved the place, rooms have a very cozy vibe to them and amenities provided in them are very well thought out! It has a direct access to the Galgibaga beach which is one of the less crowded and beautiful beaches in South Goa. Kudos to the host Maverick who was very helpful and also gave us the suggestions about the nearby places to visit.

Cozy room. The beach is just a minute walk from the room. The staff is good. Made sure our trip was comfortable. It's a very good place if you want to unwind from your daily routine. The beach is very peaceful. Not crowded like other beaches. The only drawback is there are no hotels or restaurants along the beachside so one has to travel quite a distance to get anything.

It is a lovely property, that has been done up nicely and is very conveniently located - just a short 2 minute walk to the beach. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this part of Goa. You are ensured complete privacy as well. The hosts Mavrick and Anna were proactive with their communication and extremely cordial and helpful as well. The caretaker Jholen also ensured a smooth check-in process. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay over here.

It was a Nice experience staying here. Quiet place, great rooms, amazing atmosphere, back up available. Staying in a tent was the one which was not that comfortable as early morning at 4, a bird started singing her songs/chirping and did not stop for a long time (neighbours one). Suggestion: The check in time can be an hour early where 2 pm is quiet mid of the day.

It's a beautiful property located very close to the Galgibaga beach.. the main bunglow has access to the garden and outside sitting area. They have all the essentials stocked up in the kitchen and they're pet friendly too! The host of this place is very friendly and gracious. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to stay in South Goa..

Casa Galgibaga and its rooms are a delight to stay at. 500 mtrs from the protected turtle nesting site, the property nestled amongst peace and quiet slows you down. Expectations of a Starred accommodation will ruin the stay, but i was pleasantly surprised with the luxury amidst simplicity. Beautifully done up simple rooms provide cleanliness, hygienic and comfortable stay and gave us the opportunity to be one with nature and the higher reals. While it does not have its own restaurant, there are authentic places which deliver great food. We enjoyed our brief stay with our pets. Thanks Anna for the accommodative hospitality.

This place is not ready for visitors. At all. It's unkempt; no water or food provided. Approach road is not a road just a dirty trash filled path. Pitch dark after sunset, no lighting. No security. No parking . Beach is clean but that is not because of owners efforts. I wish the owners success but they need to work at their hospitality

An extremely bad and sad experience. We had booked the villa for 2 night's and were all set to leave early in the morning but unfortunately our son fell ill and had high fever. Called and informed them one and a half day in advance but they said that they will deduct 50 percent of the advance. 8500 rs advance payment for no service?? Very conveniently the terms and conditions were told to us after the payment was made.. and not shared before the payment. Inhuman behaviour shown by the owners towards a situation which is not in our control. We requested them to change the booking dates but that will cost 50 percent of advance even though they have a couple of dates free next week. Even though they are registered with airbnb they asked for a direct payment to their account so that no redressal can be seeked from airbnb.They don't mind making money out of customer's misery. Be careful of such businesses.Even though they got another booking for the date booked by me the owner has not bothered to refund the money back.Greed has no end and these people can ask their friends and family to give them 5 star ratings but eventually people will know..
