Casa Dos Rebelos - Hotel in Panaji - North Goa, India

The hotel's location is a major plus, situated close to all the main casinos in Goa. The rooms were not only nice but also impeccably clean, providing a comfortable stay. Being right in front of Cafe Bhonsle added a convenient touch to the overall experience. Despite its slightly aged exterior, Casa dos Rebelos has a vintage charm that contributes to the Goan ambiance. It's not your typical hotel but manages to capture the essence of a vintage Goan establishment. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the helpful staff who made sure everything went smoothly. However, one concern I had during my stay was the lack of security. With no guard on duty, there's a potential risk, and I believe the hotel could enhance security measures to ensure a safer environment for guests. This is particularly important for peace of mind, considering the hotel's proximity to major casinos.

Posting to save people DO NOT fall in trap of the fake property photos and reviews on internet*** The owner Terri is rude, greedy and unprofessional. the hotel is located on an extremely busy and polluted road with construction work all around. The rooms are cramped, smelly and claustrophobic no scope for cross ventilation. The pictures on internet do not show the recent condition of the property. The actual rooms are far from the pictures which seem photoshopped to enhance asthetics. Please do not fall in the trap of these fake reviews. I had booked this hotel for 3 nights; however had to cancel it due to medical reasons & the inhuman owner of this hotel charged us a cancellation fee of Full booking amount, even a one star hotel will consider medical exceptions. It seems the hotel doesn't do well therefore the owner has no option to do such things to earn living. Anyways... If anyone still wishes to get fooled please do. It would be better to stay near baga else book AFONSO GUEST HOUSE in panji instead. We booked the room for 5300 INR/Per night and the actual rooms are not even worth 1000 INR/Per night. Dude I am his wife and just trying to help other travels. For you kind information we payed a surprise visit to your resort use the washroom as well. So please keep your over smartness to yourself. Keep the money hope that helps you.

Fantastic place to stay in a historical building at the center of the action in Goa. Great location surrounded by restaurants cafes bars and near sightseeing areas. Friendly staff that is most helpful. Highly recommended

Loved our stay at Casa Dos Rebelos! Each day of our stay only made the place so much more endearing! The entrance is very unassuming, though in the heart of a superb location, opposite the OG Cafe Bhonsle! Rooms were impeccably maintained everyday of our stay! In close vicinity, there are numerous restaurants and cafes to tickle your palate - Cafe Bhonsle, Shiv Sagar, Cafe Tato, Kokum Curry, Mr Baker 1922, Cafe Real, Caravelo, Hospedaria Vinite, to name just a few. There are many sightseeing locations too, within walking distance - Churches, Casinos, quaint old architecture, etc., besides the beaches! Terry at Casa dos Rebelos, ensured our queries and needs regd our trip were promptly fulfilled. He is truly a walking Goan encyclopedia, besides bearing an uncanny resemblance to our fav Shashi Kapoor!! His Assistant, Rabi, too ensured we were well looked after. We deffo recommend a stay here if you need a home away from home in Goa!

The host and staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms are neat and comfortable. The place is walking distance from Casinos, Cafes and prime sites in Panji. It was highly convenient and we had a great time!

Really nice place to stay. If you want a quiet, budget friendly, with a central location, go for Casa Dos Rebelos. Perfect if you're travelling with a group of friends or alone. Close your eyes and book away :)

The check in time is 2PM and checkout is 11 AM. The rooms are big and the AC takes care of all the heat in summers. The location of Casa Dos Rebelos is excellent. It is located within walking distance from all casinos and major attractions in Panaji. Even Cafe Bhonsle is right outside of it. Casa dos Rebelos is on the first floor of Rebelos Building managed by a very friendly owner terry who's keen to help the clients. We arrived earlier than check-in time hence the rooms were not available to check in. Despite that, we were able to safely leave our luggage at reception and start touring around Panjim. When we got a call that our room was ready, around 2PM, the owner was kind enough to turn on the AC. The room had a directory of Rebelos archives and local best places. There was also a book called 'Cholta Cholta' which described good ways to explore Panji. Most memorable for me was that they had a cookie jar in the room from Mr. Baker, Goa's oldest bakery. During our stay, we couldn't visit that place but still got a taste of it. Also, the corridor and all the artefacts around speak of Rebelos family history which is quite interesting. Also, Miramar beach/Immaculate conception church is just a walk away. As per date, Zomato/outside food and drinks are allowed. Cutest thing is they have a CDR custom made keychain made for all the rooms and all furniture is wooden. Gives antique and relaxing vibes that perfect for a vacation. All the attention paid to small details made me so happy, definitely gonna visit again.

Its small well located Homestay kind of place with 5/6 rooms. Not fancy but quite adequate with all basic facilities. The place is full of old memories of the 100 year old building and pics, frames and artifacts educating you about how Goa was a century ago. Its right in middle of the heritage side of Goa. well known places like Cafe Bhosle, Ritz classic, Kamat cafe are a stones throw away. Clean and spacious rooms, hygienic toilet, safe atmosphere. A lot of attention to detail has been given when designing this hotel like a Jar of cookies in each room, a book about walking tours of Panjim etc. The owner Terry is a very nice and warm person. Terry is friendly to talk to and proactive in guiding a helping the guests. Even Ratan, the night manager is friendly and goes out of the way if help is required. You are given a very homely treatment as if you are their distant relatives visiting them. All in all a nice, clean and reasonable priced place in Panjim.
