Casa Diva - Villa Home stay - Home Stay in Lonavala, Dahivali - Pune, India

It was a great experience staying at Casa Diva. The weather and the atmosphere both were too good. It has a good swimming pool, a small back garden and a Terrace too where people can have a lot of fun. Rooms were lavish and large enough for 3 to 4 people to sleep. Kitchen had abundant vessels which allowed us to cook anything we wanted! We'd a great time here!

Worth your pocket and worth your mood. Perfect random find, this place turned out to be the best. Host AMIT is such a warm and welcoming person, he guided us well from the day we started from to next day when we reached back. He has been honest and open about everything the villa has to offer and moreover he has been a big helping hand to the locals as well. THANK YOU CASA DIVA it was a peaceful stay

The location to the interiors, everything was great. Ameet is a great host. Proactive and always ready to help. It was a wonderful stay! A perfect weekend getaway.

A group of 8 of us visited Lonavala for 2N/3D and we got Casa Diva at a very very reasonable price. The stay was great and at a great location too. It was really clean with nice sit outs, large Bluetooth speakers, wifi, kitchen to cook and barbecue counter. Amit our host was very accommodating and amazing. He was courteous and kind enough to allow us for a late check in and even told us that we can check out late since he didn't expect guests the next day. He even suggested several food vendors and shared an itinerary for places to cover. We even got a cake from the host on the last day of our stay!. Overall our stay was nice and we had a great deal of fun! Definitely Recommended!!!

The property is very well maintained, comfortable and beautiful. Perfect place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city and relax. It has a backyard space with the view of mountains and a pool to chill in. They provide you with a music system, so yes party and karaoke nights! The host is very welcoming and understanding. For food we decided to explore our options outside and it was a bit of a task. Also, for every time you go to the main city centre Lonavala you have to pay a 40Rs toll(one way) but that wasn't really an issue for us.

Overall, we enjoyed our ( a group of 8 friends) trip a lot! Pros - *The villa is located at a beautiful location *Chilly weather as it is amidst nature *Caretaker was really helpful while cooking food and arranging cabs *2 general stores available near the villa *Air conditioned rooms *The villa had all the necessary amenities (water purifier, water heater etc.) *Complementary BBQ was arranged at the villa *Villa is surrounded by streams, mountains and waterfalls *Special thanks to the host, Amit, he was really helpful and provided us with all necessary details patiently Cons- *Some dishes were not properly cleaned when we arrived at the villa *The swimming pool had some leaves and dead insects when we used it on the first day, although it was cleaned on the second day *Wifi provided to us was available only on the ground floor *The shower on the ground floor was not working properly *The fan near the bunk bed on the first floor was not working Some general information - *The villa is located on the outskirts of lonavala, so the roads are full of potholes (rainy season) *Taxi and rickshaw drivers charge exorbitantly *Restaurants are not available in the vicinity of the villa, the caretaker can arrange for food through catering services. Finally, It was worth staying at this villa, and would love to try it the next time.

Have a read before booking this villa - Pros- 1) Excellent place for 6-8 people. 2) Fresh bathrooms. 3) Good portable music system. 4) Clean bedsheets. 5) Variety of utensils and cutlery available. 6) Excellent location for some thrilling adventure. 7) Complementary barbeque and they can give you marinated chicken if you ask them beforehand. 8) Good caretaker. 9) The photos uploaded on Google were accurate Cons- 1) Utensils in the kitchen were not washed properly. 2) Villa towels were not changed by the caretaker. 3) Wifi is not available on 1st floor where the TV is placed in one of the rooms 4) Insects and leaves were inside the swimming pool. 5) Expired masala packets inside fridge 6) Reaching this villa is pretty difficult because of bad roads. 7) Marinated chicken was good but marinated paneer was not good for barbeque. 8) For barbeque, some skewers were without handle and it was difficult and time consuming as the grill setup was pretty old. Those who are traveling by public transport - 1) Beware of local rikshawala, they charge you more money of local sightseeing (Ex. 250 for around 1.5km). 2) Kirana stores were nearby but they were selling their products at a higher MRP. 3) Try to bring personal cooking ingredients like oil, bread, spices, butter, chicken, etc. 4) Don't rely on nearby hotels/dhabas as they charge you more for not so good food. 5) If you are returning from Karla caves, don't rely on Google maps because it's misleading.

Awesome villa to go and chill with your friends for a weekend or with family for a staycation. Owner is very friendly and helpful. The house has a perfect and amazing view of the mountain ranges from the balcony in one bedroom and a terrace. It also has a personal backyard to enjoy and chill. The caretakers are really polite and helpful. Swimming pool in common between 10 villas and is very well maintained. Must visit this place in the monsoons.
