Casa Abilio De Sousa - Home Stay in Quepem - South Goa, India

We spent a wonderful day at Casa Abilio. my father relieved his days in Quepem with fondness. Host Erlick and his wife Maria and children have done a fantastic job restoring this piece of heritage. The rooms were very comfortable with modern amenities, the food, drinks and ambience were amazing. The ambience around the church square, the lush green fields behind the home make it a perfect get away from the city.

We booked the entire place to celebrate a family function and everyone loved the place. Every room in the house is so grand and well maintained. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The staff were extremely helpful and catered to our every need with a smile. Will definitely be back to stay here again soon.

We went with a group of friends and we flew from different continents. I went from Tampa,FL. Others came from different parts of the world and our core group from Hyderabad were in constant communication with Erlick, the owner of this beautiful heritage home. Erlick, his sweet daughter and the staff took excellent care of us. We spent 4 nights and 5 days and each day the food was prepared in different cuisines and my most favorite obviously was the delicious Goan food. We were 13 of us and all of us could sit at the large dining table to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner together. Erlick is passionate about preserving the artifacts and upkeep of this large home. He shared the history of his ancestors and the walls have so many beautiful pictures of his royal ancestors to take us back in time. My favorite time was the serene morning overlooking the paddy fields with exotic birds chirping away while we would sip our tea and coffee. You definitely need a vehicle to get around since it's a bit far from all the buzz of a city and that is why we chose this place to enjoy the peace and tranquility of South Goa. Many thanks to Erlick, his family and staff for an amazing vacation.

A heritage home of Portuguese era has been renovated as home stay. Interiors with furnitures is just classic. Worth staying for a night even though place is away from the beach . Price too is reasonable

I was looking for a beautiful spacious property to stay at in south Goa and Casa Abilio was love at first sight. My first conversation with Erlick was extremely warm and welcoming which made me wanna stay at his property and met him in person. He's fantastic as us and will keep you feeling at home at all times. Speaking about the property of you love antique, architecture, serene, calm this is the place for you. Erlick accommodated all my requests as per my requirements and I had a fantastic experience. I'm wanting to be back! Must stay at CADS!

Stayed at Casa Abilio De Sousa with some friends recently. A beautiful, quiet, vintage, heritage Goan home very well-kept by Erlick and his efficient daughter, Noella. Faraway from the madding crowd, the place is a perfect serene getaway.

An true heritage Portuguese house. Extremely friendly staff and ample of parking. The interiors are amazing with a perfect blend of antique furniture and the most modern of amenities. Fully stocked bar and fully equipped kitchen. A game room I'm the basement with a pool table and carom board to keep you entertained. A definite must stay!
