Carvalho's Bar & Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Calangute - North Goa, India

Nice place with good Goan food. Tried the Prawns Goan curry and the king fish thali. Very yummy. Situated in a nice place. The waiter was very attentive. This is my third time in Goa and I have yet to see a waiter not being nice. It may be my luck or this Goa atmosphere keeps them cool.

Cheap and best food. Decent ambience. Good service as we have ordered beef chille but with very less beer pieces. In no time we got just beef pieces or more known as beef chilly. Appreciate the waiters who are nice and explain well about the food you order. Must recommend beef and pork items.

Food was good. But the male waiter was very rude, even going to the extent of making fun of a few customers, and was trying to be over friendly with a Russian couple hoping to get a good tip while being rude with Indian travellers. We normally tip really well knowing the efforts of service staff but this time we decided to forfeit due to this person. Hope this person is replaced, he looks and sounds to be a Rohingya, not sure if he is a legit citizen here. The female staff were very gentle.

Best bar i ever visited in Goa atmosphere was good. It looks expensive but surprisingly rate was low. Staff was really good. I liked it

Abu, fantastic. Really good lad that kept everything running as one would expect. Food, phenomenal. Butter chicken to die for. Loved this place. Also great for people watching. Try it. You won't be disappointed

What a horrible experience I had today. There's no name of professionalism at this place. Want to have a quick bite. I order fries and chicken club sandwich and I was told that sandwich would have egg in it. When I received my meal there no egg in it. I told waiter and he told the chef and didn't even bothered to speak about it. And I continue with my fries and saw a fly in it. No one was ready to listen or to respond, when after which 2 waiter and a chef started argument with me. One of the female waiter told me on my face to get out and don't come here again, thus was happening and other customers were sitting there and these staff don't even care it and keep going on about. I leave the restaurant was on my way back to my hotel. These ppl run from restaurant and physically touched me. I said get on hands off from me if not I call police ciz this is illegal. They told let go back to the restaurant and talk I told them whatever you wanted to do, do it right here. Then I just walked away and were keeping calling me. I don't know what and how owner is managing this place and haven't trained their to hospitality level.

Half a km from calangute beach the place is small yet busy with forign customers.reasonably priced and great service.Great vibes amazing ambience they hav wide variety of items..regarding the food i feel its ok considering the location..must try if u visit calangute its very difficult to find better resturant there..

They don't have much option in booze. But overall ambience is good. Chill vibe with good taste. And you can get most of the foreigners in this restaurant. As it is said that this is very old restaurant.
