A wonderful initiative to create a space for dog lovers but needs a little maintenance and care . The gates are broken and the obstacles exist but damaged . The poop is left behind and can create a distasteful environ but all in all a good start for a city
If you want to have an area to allow your dog to run free without worry then this may not be the park for you... I say this because along the one side of the perimeter the fencing is suspended in the air resulting in a huge gap below that allows dogs to easily escape. I love the fact that someone went to all this trouble to create a dog park however it is very small so throwing a ball and playing with your dog can be quite restricting. It is overgrown, however, my dog loved that. In a city where there is limited space for dogs to run I am grateful for this park.
This is a lovely reprieve for pets in the hustle and bustle of the city... They can meet other pets and socialise. It's a bit run down though and could do with maintenance. Thankful for this place and to whoever built it... Gratitude This is an update to the review, The park has recently been maintained and repaired and we are so glad to see the improvements and changes. It's become usable and a place of joy once more.
No place for children to play! Five to ten dogs use the park. Next door, hundreds of children have to squeeze themselves to play! We must convert the dog park into a children's playground.
