Carnival Cinemas - Movie theater in Asansol - Paschim Bardhaman, India

Carnival cinema is closed from 30th June '23 as said by the security guard. No further notice on its reopening.

Visited many times. Neat and clean ambience. Sound experience Good. Not recommended for 3D. But projection screens are too dirty you can feel the difference. Also visited last week In screen 1 and found F10 seat was broken, also put a complaint about it.

Best cenema hall in asansol located the top floor of sentrum mall. There are 6 screen and all latest movie s release here. It was well maintained but currently it not maintained very good. There are popcorn and cold drink bar attached to it. The price of coldrink starts from 120rs and popcorn are of 170 200 and 240 there are also samosa available the tickit price are genrally starts from 150 and heighest up to 180. It's the only option near asansol. So if you wanna watch a movie in an air conditioned theatre, this is the only one you got . The AC is okay. The sound and video quality is not that good but it's satisfactory. Don't go for 3D movies you will waste money and your brain and eyes too.

Box office is on top floor of mall. It is on shristinagar New Asansol. If you are coming from Asansol then you have to cross underpass and then you have to take left and need to drive 1km to reach carnival cinema. And if you are driving from Asansol engineering college (Jubilee more Asansol) before underpass you have to take right and need to drive 1 km destination is on left. it will take 5 min drive..Bike parking charges is 20/- rs and car parking charges is 30/- rs.

Man, Beleive me the best Cinema we have ever had, but the bad news is that it is now closed. Although I will like if it will open again.

Need Major Improvement in Screen Brightness : Good movie theater as expected from Carnival cinemas but not impressive like PVR & INOX. Located just 4.8 km from Asansol bus station. You can easily reach here by taking Uber or taxi. It's just 10 minutes ride from Asansol Station. Now taking about the experience, This is one and only theatre is Asansol where you able to watch movie's in 3D with latest Hollywood blockbusters. The theater provide you excellent sound quality But the screen quality is bit disappointing. I watched Avengers Endgame here and the picture resolution we are getting is very low specially with 3D glasses.Screen darkens once 3D glasses are put on. The 3D glasses are also not very comfortable.The foods and snacks are very expensive here Except all these the seats are very comfortable and well surrounded by A.C's and you can feel the coziness of home. The theater has a excellent decor and calm ambiance. The one thing I like about these theater staffs are not going to bother you to purchase snacks and popcorn If you want to watch movies in 3D and want great experience definitely this theat is not meant for you.
