Their signature Dosas are very good and the peanut chutney was definitely the icing on the cake. Service can be improved. Even after waiting for 40 minutes, we expect some decency from the servers. The server snatched the menu from my hand while I was reading it to order desserts.

This place captures the true essence of South Indian food. Dosa, uttapam, appam, vada, filter coffee, everything we ordered was beyond delicious Ate till my heart's content and had an amazing time here. 100% recommend this place for your next South Indian food craving. The only downside of their food being delicious is that you'll have to wait to get a table most of the time. Rest assured, the food will make that wait worthy.

Had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for a table. But it was worth it. The treat was amazing, those crisp dosas on outside yet fluffy on inside. Too good to explain. "18th cross maheshwari" is a must try dosa. Make sure you reach early or you won't get any table, they don't take reservations so be early or go somewhere else in 32 nd milestone.

The Malleshwaram 18th Cross Dosa is a must have and worth the wait of 30 mins or more which you will find here to get a table, especially during weekends. They need to change the table tops and glasses for water as they do not match with the vibes of the place. The food is very good ! The chutney's are full of flavour and each dosa has a very unique and distinct taste. Has the potential to be one of your go to places for South Indian food. The ice cream can be avoided though its nothing special.

The food is good but I guess you would already know that. I am sharing this to highlight the lack of management at this location. They don't take reservations and the there is always waiting (min 30 minutes). The person who is supposed to take your name in the list keeps roaming around. They also take your name and not number so just wait for 45 minutes while they keep saying names. I wonder what will happen if 2 people have the same name. I really liked the food but I would rather eat at the branch at t3 domestic airport. Pls rethink if you are planning to do your weekend dinner here (especially if you plan to come with the whole family).

They are specialised in Various Varieties of Tasty Dosa, Idlis, uttapam etc. I recently visited Carnatic Cafe at 32 milestone and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located in Gurgaon 32nd milestone mezzanine floor and offers a great selection of authentic South Indian dishes. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable, and the staff members are friendly and attentive. I tried the dosas and uttapam , which were freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The dosa was also flavorful, fluffy and crispy on the outside. I appreciated the use of authentic ingredients and spices in the three chutneys, which added to the overall appeal. The menu at Carnatic Cafe is a harmonious symphony of traditional South Indian dishes. The dosas were delightfully crisp, while the uttapam were soft and fluffy, just as they should be. The sambar had a rich depth of flavor, and the coconut chutney was a refreshing complement to the dishes. The staff at Carnatic Cafe were friendly but not so much attentive to the order , providing helpful suggestions and ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Overall, Carnatic Cafe is a heaven for those seeking an authentic taste of South Indian cuisine. We had Malleshwaram Dosa which is their signature dish(fluffy from inside and crispy from outside with gun powder and peanut paste) Manina Maga Dosa was nice too which had peanut chutney paste and was open flat dosa and last was Mysore Masala Dosa which had garlic flavour. Highly recommended place. Food is good. One of the top choices in Gurgaon for South Indian food. I visit here once a week or order and food quality has been consistent. Security at the entrance is a bit rude while providing tables. The main door is difficult to open for ages. Cleanliness can be improved. Another thing I didn't like is I ordered a workshop thatte idli and they gave one piece for 175 plus taxes. Felt this was too pricey for the size given.

We had an incredible experience at Carnatic Cafe in Gurugram. We started with their popular dish, the bombat Dosa, followed by some delightful filter coffee. To top it off, we savored the Raw Coconut Sugar with Roasted Almond, which was simply fantastic. Not only was the food amazing, but it was also budget-friendly. The signature dosa at Carnatic Cafe delivered an authentic taste that left us thoroughly satisfied with our dining experience.
