Beware if you book through travelling websites. The management here can cancel your booking and give it to some other persons and when you enter for check in they will say there is no rooms booked in your name. And despite your request of asking them to contact the website, they will ask" Why should we contact ? If there is anything they will contact us "This is the type of dealing you might face. And meanwhile if you are waiting at the reception sorting out all the issues, no matter how long you sit they might not even ask if you need a glass of water.. Such a nice hospitality!!!
My stay at carinaa resort exceeded my expectations. One of the well maintained, well planned and nice property. We stayed here for our Gir Jungle safari. Just nice place. Would love to stay again....kids were just loved it. Nice food, good quality. Overall awesome experience
Carina Retreat Resort is One of the best resorts I have visited till now. set in a beautiful location. The setting is very relaxing. All the hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. The restaurant food is delicious. We found our bed to be very comfortable and our rooms were very spacious, with everything we needed. From the balcony, we could view the Sasan-Gir Jungle. Very clean family swimming pool & Adventure Park for kids. We would happily visit again.
The staff was good and polite. But the property was not maintained well. Lot of flies and insects. The rooms were small in size. It is a bit inside the main road and 300 metres of road towards resort was bad. The staff attitude was very good but need to maintain the property well. The swimming pool was not worth going. Lot of insects in the pool and there was dust too.
We stayed in this hotel on October 21 and 22. The room and toilet were not cleaned and were dusty. Bath towels had stains on them. The lock to the room was broken. It required a major follow up with the reception to get it fixed. The cups kept for the guests for tea/coffee at the breakfast buffet were unwashed and had the remains of the beverages in them. The staff had no service orientation and demonstrated very casual attitude.

we had superb family tour of sasan gir with stay at Carina retreat, nice rooms, good food with good service....one suggestion is that pls improve yr food side with service i think in peak time they can manage it in better way.. on rest of part is good one.
