Dr. William Carey is also one of the founders of the Statesmen News Paper and he also has been know to have had one of the first few printing press in the country. There is also a college on the grounds that is for theological studies at the bachelor's and master's level. Carey Baptist Church is open to all during Sunday from about - 7:00 A.M. for the Bengali Service 9:00 A.M. for the English Service 11:00 A.M. for the Hindi Service A board near the gate has information for the weekly meetings of the church.
Today 23rdApril 2023 LORD JESUS made a way for me & I visited this lovely church of GOD. The church started with wonderful Praise & Worship.Pastor Cyril's preaching is absolutely based on Bible.His dedication & love for his Church people is so encouraging for the next generation of Believers to spread the Gospel of Christ. People of the Church also very welcoming, loving & kind. I recommend this Church to every Christ Believer who Believes in the work of the Holy Spirit & shuns idol worship.
