Very big prk maintaied by locality. If is equipped with many different types of swings for children. It's hvng vry big circumference for walking, jogging etc for healthy life. It's clean n hygenic so you will feel fresh once you enter the premesis of it. I have spent there one hour and I see children's are play cricket, some peoples are walking there etc.
Love to spend evening time here , It refresh my eyes and feel relaxed here. Always like spend my time nature. Very well maintain park in our colony .
Amazing and beneficial. I loved the park. I shall miss it. The well maintained greenery, the trimmed thuza, the clean benches, the clean wind, wow. But the exercise materials are not taken care of. So sorry.
This park has been constructed in memory of Late Capt Amol Kalia who laid down his life fighting the Pakistani infiltrators in Batalik Sector, Kargil. Statue of Capt AMOL KALIA VrC has been installed in this Park.

Park needs serious upgrades
1. footpath for walking is not wide enough for three people to walk comfortably together
2. footpath is uneven, one can get their ankle twisted if not careful
3. if you come for a walk, you cannot find a single dustbin. There should be dustbins along the footpath and at the entry, and it should be clearly identifiable
4. Due to traffic on the main adjoining highway, air quality is bad in the park. They should plant tall trees along the park border and increase plantation inside the park. Otherwise the exercise people do is not beneficial if they inhale all the pollution
5. Condition of swings and other rides not good, this is the main park of the area and Municipal Commissioner should work on making it the best and setting example
Beautiful Park located just at the entrace to the New Nangal town...Well maintained with good facilities for children to play...Restrooms are available to just near the Statue...
