Capital O Hotel Umed Grand - Hotel in Jalandhar - Jalandhar, India

There was only 1 charging point in the entire room and that too didn't work, when i complained, the most i got from them was 2 extension cords and i had to extend it from the bathroom. The food was really overpriced. The only good point was included breakfast. Quality of food was good though but overpriced.

It's a very nice hotel. It is opposite PIMS Hospital (Garaha Road). The ambiance is great. The staff is good. Everything is built perfectly. Rooms are very good and cozy. Rooms and other areas of hotel are properly cleaned. There is a lot of parking space. There is no noise pollution.

Location of hotel is easily accessible from highway. Hotel is neat and clean. Recommended to take the corner rooms with windows. The center rooms are tiny and felt little suffocated. Breakfast is also good 5 star to breakfast.

Hotel itself is quite value for money as far as quality of rooms, cleanliness and furniture is concerned. I was amazed to see facilities like refrigerator, free wi-fi, super clean toilet etc. In budget hotels, poor furniture, no proper lighting, smelly bedding etc is a norm but 'Umed' scores full marks and is at par with any good 3 star hotel. I booked a room from oyo and got a great deal. With a heavy heart, I am deducting 2 stars because their food and staff attitude is below average/non friendly. They need to resolve these issues asap if they want returning customers.

Value for money, only for staying. Food prices are exorbitant. Step out of the hotel and take a right turn (opposite to PIMS) and you will find plenty of small joints with okay food. Visit Taj Grand, just Incase if you are a veg buff. Overall, staffs are nice and rooms are spacious and clean.

they are fraud. they charge me 2000rs for the room then call me after 2-3 hours that your checkout time is over. so plz don't go their directly, first book the hotel from OYO or MakeMyTrip otherwise you will definitely get con by them. worst experience ever. this is the reason that the foreigners are afraid of coming to india on there own they always prefer some guid.

Worst place to stay totally hourly based hotel with lot of mess.. Blanket covers are too dirty with stains which I can't say people can understand such stains if hotel provides room on hourly basis. Less to more to understand...

Idiot receptionist. We were travelling with my elder brother and sister in law so we requested for a triple sharing room and the shocking incident was that they deny to provide us the room by saying that they couldn't allow 2 gents and 1 ladies in a single room. Such a bad mentality person he was. I totally disappointed with the reason giving him so a big middle finger to Umed Grand management.
