Very bad experience. So unhygienic poor room and bathroom. Cocroaches spider, and web in bathroom .plugs were not working. Means poor experience in every term so disappointing. Don't pay online . They don't hv any website their . Very different from the pics on website and in real .

Rooms are not good. Service is bad. Bathroom condition is very bad. Location is just behind the Baba Atal Gurudwara. Roads are Narrow. Just 2 min. Walking distance from Golden temple.

My recent stay at Akaal residency was a NIGHTMARE. Manager Sonu was very rude. He was shouting and fighting over everything. The door handle and lock were broken, which got repaired after several requests. The toilet seat was also broken. We reached the place at 2 pm and got the uncleaned room at 3:30 pm. We were waiting for 1 and half hours however, the check-in time was 12 noon. The next day, Sonu (the manager) started asking at 9 am to vacate the room. We left the room at 11:30 am and he was threatening us at that time. There was an electricity problem from 9:30 pm to 4:10 am. The entire night AC was not working and they stopped the generator at around 3 am, then the fan also stopped working. 1. No restaurant/food arrangements 2. No cutlery provided for outside food 3. AC remote was not working 4. TV remote was not there 5. Intercom was not working

Overall My stay at the hotel was Good. I booked a deluxe room with a complimentary breakfast from Goibibo. The Hotel is walking distance from Golden Temple, so location is good. Receptionist was very courteous and helpful. I faced a minor issue where in less water flow was coming from the taps in the washroom and it was fixed by the staff without much hassle. Room, washroom were clean when we checked in. Best part was the breakfast buffet- we enjoyed it. Overall I would say its a good hotel for anyone - be it family, friends or any business trip etc. Thank You Team Akaal Residency.

Great place to stay. This hotel is at a walking distance (100m) from Harmandir Sahib entrance. The closest entrance is from the Langar Hall side. Great service, the rooms were clean and cleaning service is provided every day. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and refrigerators.

If we talk about the overall experience it is very bad .i will not recommend this hotel to any one .( Not even for bachelors also ) . -No restaurant no food service first of all -No housekeeping service . - Staff behaviour is very rude very very rude they don't even know that how to talk to there staff. They have only one person which is present always there .his name is Sonu . . I don't know why company owner has hire this kind of person . - AC is there but there remote will not working so if the AC is on at 16 or24 temperature it will remain on that only . - in some room tv is there but it is not working . - room are very small and washroom are also very small compartively the price they are charging .
