Very hospitable, host Chetan takes care of every guest. The chef Anil Singh is excellent. The location is the best you can get in Pulga. just touching the fairy forest. I will definitely go back again.
we were searching for a stay in pulga and were so glad we ended up here, right beside the fairy forest. Can't say it is very hospitable but definitely no negatives. lovely place to enjoy the beauty of pulga.
Alert! Don't go by the high rating of this place. Must avoid. Poor 1 star rating is an understatement for the experience I had. Having come all the way post multiple treks and muddy trails, we expected a comfortable stay given the high rating. However, much to our dismay, our prepaid and reserved rooms were, in fact, given away - our "mistake" was that we reached at 6 pm in the evening and didn't call the owner for our "reserved" rooms. As if that wasn't enough, the owner's condescending attitude made the whole situation untenable to say the least. We were offered "complimentary" rooms in a bamboo hut bereft of electricity and water. No buckets of water were kept despite us repeatedly asking for the same. If there ever was an opposite of a hospitable stay, this was it. There was no electricity -We sat in darkness throughout the night. We were given limited options for food and were denied items on the menu even though they were being served to other patrons. We had to go get our own glasses after 1hr+ of waiting. After another 3 hours, we finally managed to get a basic veg thali (at 1 am in night) which was absolutely tasteless, cold and stale. There was no electricity and water for us throughout the stay. The cafe is at the farthest end of Pulga and is definitely not worth the hype and reviews. Avoid this place at all costs. Must recommend for people who love torturing themselves! It cannot get worse than this. Negative stars if it were possible
First time in # Capital and YOU have to go! It's the cutest little spot with amazing food. The #Capital is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. The host Chetan made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
We'd booked advanced tickets for 2 rooms but the owner did not reserve it, instead choosing to give it off to random people. We were eventually put up in some random bamboo huts with no electricity and water. We struggled to get food and basic service. We had to get glasses ourselves and the basic thali dinner that we ordered (which was horrible) at 10:30 pm came at 1 am in the night. Would have given negative if possible.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly. Customers satisfaction is their main priority. Food is pretty good along with awesome ambience, and for their prices it's 100% worth it.
Had to select 1-star, although would have preferred 0. Multiple things are wrong with this stay: 1. At the farthest point in Pulga, so you would have to trek through slippery mud and thinnest stretches. I remember grabbing either a barbed wire or a branch of the tree to move forward. 2. Even though I had an advanced booking (fully paid), I will asked to leave since I came in around 6pm. The owner told us it's our fault that we did not proactively call to confirm booking even though full amount of the room was prepaid. 3. The owner asked us to stay in a bamboo room which had no water/electricity. 4. Cursing our fate, we decided to stay back in the common restaurant area till late night. However, the evening tea that we order came in after about an hour. When we started to order for dinner at 10:30pm (bear in mind that no waiter ever bothered to come to take our order), owner suddenly said this would be the last order for the night and said only rice-dal-mix veg-roti can be ordered. This order was served around 1am in the night and that too felt stale and cold. 5. Demeaning attitude of the owner who behaved as if he had done a favour letting us stay in the bamboo rooms. Definitely a MUST-NOT visit even by mistake. If you have still landed up there and are then reading this review, I feel sorry.
Booked a stay here for a day by doing advance payment. The host had forgotten about that and alloted the room to someone else. Didn't even bother to call to ask us about the booking. We were alloted a bamboo hut after we reached the place. It had no running water. The service was even more pathetic. The food came 2.30 hours after ordering, it being ice cold. Even glasses were not provided. This is my 6th time to Himachal Pradesh having travelled most of the state. This has to be the worst experience here. Come with limited expectations. There are better places to stay and better hosts all around. Really Disappointed. Had to give 1 star as there is no option for 0 stars.
What an experience it was! I went to have peace me time and Old Brahma Cafe was perfect. The location of the cafe is amazing at the top of upper Kalga and has mesmerising view. While Shakti Bhai was very warm and welcoming, Shubham Bhai was always re
In the midst of crowded Kasol, Chalal Trek is a saving grace. Away from the loud honking noises and people filled streets, Chalal offers peaceful and raw trail filled with dense trees and few shops. The river is visible throughout the trail, so you
