Lovely place! A true delight for bird lovers, its calming to spend time watching the terns fishing, and the bee eaters flying around. You can often spot some spot billed ducks and knob bills too. The location is also pretty picturesque, you can usually find a couple of families/ couples here soaking in the nature and getting a tonne of pictures clicked.
Very beautiful and calm place. Early morning and evening is the best time to chill. Good place for photography hence many pre wedding photoshoot you can victim. Excellent concept used by engineers which is very beautiful to observe. The Cenal is passing the river under it. This makes more attention to people. I visited with my friends in the evening and enjoyed moments, photography and collected many memories here. As this is causal place where everyone can come here and enjoy the nature.
Karai dam is closed for public access. However can have a nice view from Canal side. Evening or early mornings are good time. Slowly becoming popular and roadside litters are observed but still manageable. Many photo shoots happen here. No facility for washrooms.
