Canaan Marari Homestay - Home Stay in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

We had booked the entire stay for a day as we were a group of 12 people. The stay is just amazing with greneery everywhere. Its a traditional kerala house homestay where you get the feeling of old kerala home. Location is readily accessible. They have a plenty of space for party inside the house and have a garden on the backside which can be leveraged for party on non rainy days. We also had home cooked food there for which I would give 7/10. It was decent. The price for stay is decent but for serviecs they charge a bit more. So confirm the prices before taking any extra services Overall, it was a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend this place if you have a large group

Our extended family (6 adults and 5 children) stayed here in 4 rooms. We had to book this place in the last minute because our previous booking simply canceled a week before our trip. So, we went here with some trepidation but we needn't have worried. The hosts made our stay extremely comfortable. They helped us order food, made plenty of effort to make us comfortable while giving us privacy when required. We tried the breakfast in the morning and it was simply delicious. The rooms were spacious with the hallway connecting all the rooms plenty for us to spend time together. The bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The 'pool' in the middle of the house offered plenty of entertainment for the kids. The beach nearby is only a 5 minute walk and plenty private but we went to the Marari beach anyway which is about a 10 minute drive from here. I would highly recommend the place to anyone requiring a quite stay away from the big hotels and resorts and have a great experience.

Specious rooms with really giant bathrooms. It's very comfortable to live in these rooms. They have all the essential amenities that I needed. AC, Towels, Soaps. Something amazing was study lamps near the bed. It was something unique I noticed in this homestay. The hosts are great and take you around the place if you need to visit nearby places. Food was amazing and the general ambience is peaceful and relaxing.

A very pleasant place to stay! The hosts are sweet and made sure we have everything we need for our comfort. There was hot water, towels, drinking water, wifi, soap. The house has good atmosphere too. Would come back!

This was a great homestay. Paulson and Pauline who run it are very warm and hospitable.They also provided delicious home cooked meals. The house itself is well done and retains old world charm. To top it up, it is very conveniently located near the beach.

We were looking for a stay near by beach and also wanted to do backwater boat ride activity.This homestay is very near to the beach and also the backwaters is a 20min drive from here.We were more interested in beach rather than backwaters.We spent our evenings on marari and near by white sand beaches. Owner Uncle and Aunty took gr8 care of our food requirements during stay as we were already having some stomach issues. Uncle also helped us with transfers from Cherthala station to homestay and also from homestay to backwaters boat ride location. House is well maintained and surrounding area is quiet for a good night sleep.Terrace is a good place to chill out and relax at night with big trees in surroundings. There are private buses operational from Allepey that can drop you near homestay at cheap rates.

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay at this villa. The nearby Beaches were amazing to view. Garden in the property were so beautiful . Would definitely recommend this villa for a good time.This seemed like Florida to me , even better . It's a must stay

Me and my family spent 2days at this property on weekend. Mr. Paulson luked after our needs and arranged for sightseeing in our short trip. We were amazed as the Rooms were spacious and clean. My family enjoyed two days at the place. Worth spending 2 to 3 days with family. Surely would love to go again der. Best of luck to Mr. & Mrs. Paulson. Hope to see you soon.
