Those students who are in campus from a long time knows that In short he(owner of Campus E shop) is a looter, he will overprice household things where there is no fixed MRP because of local manufacturer and he will put any high price. Please also keep in mind that such things will break within a month or two. Now If something you have to return in the return window his lady workers will behave very badly to you and the guy Gurumeet and his brothers will also talk to you in such a insulting way that shows that he has too much ego and no respect towards his customers. This is how this shop is running in the campus. So I would say buy things like maggie etc that we ppl need and dont buy any other single thing from him if you want mental peace .
This place is inside IIT Kanpur and it is a shopping complex. Various type of shops like electronics, restaurant saloon etc. are included in this place. A go to shop for students and other residents. In weekend there may exist a que to enter the shop otherwise it is not that crowded.

It houses currently(Feb 2023) the following : 1-EShop(quite expensive. However you get all winter hoodies n t shirts(both sports n formal wear here only). It offers everything in food n daily stuff) 2-Amul parlour(milk products) 3-Urbancrave(expensive restaurant, food quality isn't definitely worth it. However is ambience is best) 4-Fruits shop(no juice, for juice go towards hall2) 5-Salon 6-cycle shop (buy old/new cycles+repair), most campus folks buy from this place
Nice place to get the things which are required while residing in the hostel. The pricing are somewhat on higher side but the quality of product is nice. You can get moreover everything you need here. Delivery services are also available (I bought gadda and it was delivered to my hostel within a hour).
Mini shopping mall. You will get small everyday electronics to cooler, gifts, grains, cosmetics, food, etc. It's very near to hall 6 and health centre. The place is one-price only. So no bargaining. The gift items are over-priced a little. However, you will also get a collection of perfumes which is uncommon.
