Camping Village Pawna Lake - Campground in Lonavala - Pune, India

Gone through some reviews about the Pawna Lake Camping and boating(Pawna Camp Lake and Boating). This a easy way to hide your mistakes or your bad behavior by writing a negative review. I know the staff and family who owns this campsite from since long time and they are the responsible people i have ever seen. These guys never drink or never ever abouse or comment and always advising people for safety with fun as they are not taking bookings from agents..... They respect every visitor and make sure they are not having any type of issue. For me it's like my home place it's a safest place for all. I have experienced the horrible behavior of one group from outstation who have written false review and also they have ruined our trip. I request you guys please do not trust these type of reviews. Please do visit Pawna Lake Camping and boating (Pawna Camp Lake and Boating) if you want to have experience great hospitality and want to meet the humble caretaker. Once you visit this place, trust me you will definitely come here again and again. Do enjoy boating and kayaking. Location is good but, they are not showing the picture of washroom and food quality photo. Before I went i already told them that we are coming for official trip so please maintain the toilet hygiene and food quality better but it's really disappointed. There is no proper cook and not proper kitchen with maintaing cleanliness. Plates and spoon are very uncleaned.

Had been for a overnight stay, being off season , there was less rush , hence the staff friendly but was bit relaxed too had to push them for any task done.

The place is too far the fare for Vehicle was more the the Fare of Camping. Had a very bad experience about Traveling from Lonavala Station to Camping.

My first experience to sleep in tent! Not bad They provide blankets to to sleep on inside tent. They served hot tea n snacks on arrival. Evening they provided with barbacue. N then dinner. A bit disappointed with dinner though. It was not hot at all. Enjoyed on swing n trempolin.

Only con is that it is at a far distance and the road is very bad. It took more than 1 hour to reach this place from lohagara fort. Apart from that food and environment was too good. DJ also played nice songs.

I visited this camping place around week ago. It is a good place away from city traffic and pollution for weekend getaways. One can have peaceful start of mornings over here. Pros: Faculty is very much cooperative and supportive. Family as well as friends groups can have fun over here. They arrange BBQ and camp fire for each group. You can enjoy other outdoor activities. Improvements: Food is of average quality and can be improved. Washrooms facility can be improved.

Thankfully the day we visted, we r the only one there. Washrooms r clean but flush is poor.. No gurantee when this place is full. Food is okay, since we r less in number, they listened to us & make it non spicy. Thanks for that. Special thanks for providing charpai for elderly person. BBQ is decent. Tents & bedding was good. The road to this place is not in good condition, so keep that in mind.
