Camping in Rishikesh - Campground in Rishikesh - Dehradun, India

I am posting review of Magestic camps after 1 night stay with family. Good points: Location view is nice, quite and calm place. Staff behaviour is nice. Food is also good but not very good. No issue found as a secure place to stay. Attached bathroom. Bad Points: It's located in very deeper location after many camps. If you are going with rented or your own vehicle, drive very careful. As no road available, It could be dangerous. From my point of view camps should provide 1 time pick and drop for this 4.5 km very bad road. Camps tent clothes were dirty and smells. Staff didn't show any excitement in activities services like no music at time of bonfire, no body asked for tracking or tracking for water fall. Overall you will feel very nice because of nature and it's beauty and all necessary arrangements for you in camps to stay. Morning is superb their.

Camp Crossfire, Perfect Hidden Gem of Rishikesh We spent 2 nights in this magnificent setting, everything was perfect, the beauty of the camps the swimming pool, the calm, the cleanliness of the environment, we have nothing to say except to say a big thank you to the whole team. Camping is exclusively personal liking, one should try it once. We had stayed there when one cannot enter their tents during day time because it was very hot inside. One can enjoy the stay during Nov till March. Not recommended for hot months of our country.

We booked a riverview camp through agent Himanshu for Holi celebration in Rishikesh. He showed us gloomy pictures of camp and told us that there will be grand holi celebration with DJ unlimited snacks etc. All meals were also inculded in the package. When we reached the camp we were shocked to see the location. It was in some village and the connecting road was horrible.Somehow we reached the camp and found it to be in pathetic state. Everything was dirty. There were insects roaming everywehere in the washroom. We had a fight with caretaker. Got the washrooms cleaned. They then served lunch which was pathetic. Even college mess serve better food than that. Forgot to told you that there was traces of river nearby. Only barren land all around. Called Himanshu several times but he kept on fooling us. And since evening he switched off the phone. Now came the holi day. There were no DJ, no party..nothing. just a small speaker and gulal with some lays and softdrink. We realized that we have been fooled. We already paid entire amount and caretaker told us that he can't so anything. He has been paid 1000 rs only per person. This is what we get in 1000 bucks. We decided to go to Laxman jhula and celebrate holi. When we came back we were shocked to see that there was no water to take bath. Water was coming in drops from tap. Had heated arguments with staff but it has of no use. Himanshu phone was still switched off. Finally we left that place and moved to a hotel. Please think twice before booking through this agent. He is a fraud.

Great and very Peaceful Camping cottages near river. Awesome experience will be back soon with our team. Waterfall Trek was unforgettable and also the mutton we cooked in night..

Rafting in Rishikesh, that was awesome tour in last year. We enjoy there rafting, camping and beach activity. Camping experience also good and wonderful beach in cross fire beach camp. It was a wonderful tour for our group. It was amazing experience with "Majestic rafting", they provide all facility of adventure sports. Camping facility was good, Food quality was good, camping beds was clean and evening tea also.

It was my first experience in Ganga River and must say: it was a great experience to raft in here. Especially when you have awesome co-rafters and instructors, you rafting will get more enthralling. And we had the same experience of rafting in Gamga River. At Maggy point there is a place for cliff jumping and is very exciting.

I visited camp crossfire with my friends best place to stay and very safe camp quality is really good food served there was fresh and taste was really awesome i would really recommend this place for stay if you are visiting Rishikesh.
