Camp Devvilas, Kanha - Resort hotel in Baihar, Kareli - Balaghat, India

It is one of most welcoming place near to Kanha Mukki Gate. It is kind of a jungle house. Best thing is food. It is not oily and it is delicious. Staff is helpful at all times and there is good ambience nearby the camp. It has parking and safari gypsy which can be availed for jungle safari. In all its a nice place to spend good times.

A superb wildlife stay in Kanha This place is closer to the mukki gate and is located quite close to the buffer area . The tent we stayed at was very comfortable and had a great feeling of being in the wild and privacy being surrounded by tall grass The food is great and has a touch of home made preparations which is perfect for the jungle lifestyle . Dinner under the jackfruit tree was my favourite evening The team on ground is very courteous and the whole experience is pleasurable.. They also organise the safari tickets as well as pick up and drop to the resort for a reasonable cost . A bush style high tea is also on the cards if you request Overall great place - will surely visit again !

Awesome experience in wildernesses of Kanha. Big and spacious rooms with all the amenities. 2 set of toilets with wash basin is a masterstroke well thought off as it's very helpful when you have to get ready in early hours for the morning jungle safari. Very tasty home cooked food. They have the master chef. Not once any food item was repeated for our entire duration of stay. Packed breakfast during safaris was also well packed and good quantity. You feel in the lapse of nature as property is located on the forest fringes and landscaping is done nicely to give you a feel of a stay in the forest. Those Mahua trees in the camp are just amazing. Last but not the least, camp is closer to Mukki gate which is prime zone of Kanha for sightings. All in all highly recommended to the wildlife enthusiasts like me. Camp Manager Sayali is very proactive and knowledgeable naturalist herself, will make sure everything is in place for you. The camp is a nice property about 15min from the Mukki Gate. We did most of the drives in Mukki so chose to stay here. Tents were neat and cozy.. just what you need in the winters. Saily is super talented be it the guiding on safaris, hosting us at camp or at the kitchen. She is a very warm host and always kept checking on us for meal choices and room service. I loved the campfires that were arranged in the evening... Cold winters cannot be complete without campfires and chit-chat. The boys at the camp are super attentive and ever smiling. Much gratitude to the chef too for the meals were simply delicious. Overall a fantastic place to stay and i hope to be back next season.

An amazing experience in a beautiful property managed by extremely caring & warm staff. We visited in Nov 2018 and loved every bit of our stay. The rooms are done up nicely & are really cozy. The food is delicious n all your needs are taken care of, the staff gave a lot of their time to take care of us. Must visit place. Special thanks to Mr. Noel & Mr. R P our safari guide . Amazing place overall. The property manager Ms.Saily and her team are doing an extraordinary job in maintaining an impeccable resort. People are very well trained, very sensitive to customer needs, quick in serving. Chef Antram cooks devine food. Proximity to Kanha national park is good and all arenagements to go on a safari are taken care by the team. Worth the time and money.

This is our 2nd stay at this resort. This time with more family members. The rooms are cozy and clean. Food was excellent, we all loved it especially the barbecue and bonfire. Our kids loved it. Staff is excellent and very courteous. My special gratitude to Ms. Saily who looked after us as a family member and Mr. Anurag. Highly recommend this. Our plans are to return as often as possible.

It is little difficult to locate the place as there are less signs but Google did the trick. These are same size and designed villas which let you experience good natural ambiance along with excellent service. Staff is courteous, well behaved and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable with two WCs which make it more practical. You have tea / coffee maker, cloth hangers, washroom supplies (soap, towels, face wash, shampoo etc) with 24 hr running hot water supply. Rooms are neat and clean. Food is okay okay and the best part is, we ordered few items extra and since we were covered for all meals once, we were not charged anything extra. Our liasion Miss Saili was very helpful. Connectivity is a problem as it is only jio that gives you some bars. Saili was kind to provide us with one wifi router for our use. It really helped us remain connected with our folks. Will recommend stay here.
