This is a spectacular beach to chill. 6 of us spent 2 nights here. First day the management was okay. Food is also pretty good but not good for vegetarian. 1500 per head for only half a day is too much. No pillows are provided in the tent. There's no light here. Crew will give you headlights. Second day there was no one around to ask us if we needed anything. It was like self service for us. Not much alternatives are available here. Nearest market is 7km away. They took 20k for two days from 6 of us. We were given the worst service possible on the second day. Not worth the money spent here. It's overpriced. Won't recommend this place at all. Toilet didn't have a door. So definitely not a place for women. Too much mosquitoes at night. We couldn't sleep at all. Tent was not set up adequately. We asked them to set it up properly. But they didn't even care to touch it. Bichi was reluctant to host us the second day. Sourav insisted him to host us, but he was not available there physically. Bichi is not friendly at all. He doesn't even care much about guests.
Great location. Only recommended in winter. It was unbearable to sleep in tent on 05 July 2023. No proper toilet and bath room. So not for ladies. Good for a guys day out. I slept outside on the cot, with odomos to ward off musqitoes. Prestine beach. Basic food. Not value for money.
Absolutely beautiful place, if you are one among the people who are grounded and love to be in nature, jst go for it. Authentic camping, tastey food, starry night, friends, conservation stories, turtles and fun. It's totally worth the price. We just loved it!!! Thank you team Gilehrio!!
I have absolutely loved everything about the whole camping! We went for our New Year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was authentic even in the way it was served, the beach was tranquil and the people were really good! If you are looking for authentic camp experience in Odisha, this is the place.
Simply Aww-ed Sukoon will be the most Apt Adjective for this Beautiful place. I got to experience a very peaceful and slow kinda village life. Resting on the hammock in the tree shade was my most cherished moment. I loved walking by the beach and witnessing the Beautiful Sunrise while playing hide n seek with the lil white crabs on the beach. It has a clean beach with relatively Calm waves than anywhere I have seen, so it was a fun experience for a Cymophobic person like me. Absolutely loved the place! This being my first beach camping experience, I was excited and nervous at the same time. The beach is secluded, clean and serene. The food was yummy authentic local cuisine and the hosts (team Gilehrio) were on their toes always for any request/help. I only wished we could spot some olive riddley turtles during our stay. May be next time!
Just one word. AWESOME!
A very nice place..suitable for families and kids..be prepared to live close to nature, on the beach in the midst of pine trees..come with mobile power banks and mosquito repellents !!
