Camelot Hotel - Hotel in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

We stayed here only for one night, travelling with family and kids. We booked 2 rooms for 6 adults. They provided extra bed. Service is really good and the person at reception was really helpful, humble and welcoming. This is bit away from both the town and beach, but you will get really great bang for the buck. Only negative I found was food. It could have been better. Overall great experience.

We were totally unhappy. We didn't like it from check-in until check-out. We know that this is a two-star hotel, so you should not expect anything from here,like food, services, or rooms. We stayed here only for one day. The room and bathroom were not clean, the bed sheet and towel were not clean, the towel and bed sheet were damaged, and the bathroom was not clean at all. There was no TV channel in the room; I was shown to recharge; I called the reception two or three times, and nobody responded. Then someone came and changed the top box, but I still got only a few Hindi channels. The food also was not tasty and its a high prices also. We are also working in the same hotel industry. Whatever the star category, we should be giving some good service to the guests. give good and professional training to all the staff. We will not recommend it to others.

The hotel staff has no courtesy to talk to us. We had mailed for a booking. I mailed for the confirmation of the booking. There was no reply. I called and you were not replying. Then I was told that it will take time and you are in a hurry. So you book in some other hotel, we are a holiday company, we always give booking in these hotels, yet they talk like this, the hotel staff says go to another hotel, the hotel owner knows this.

Firstly I was worried after read the reviews of this hotel.But got surpried It was nice stay here. Very clean. Staff is also welcoming.Breakfast is more different than other hotels where we stayed before.

Hate it. The glass was broken. The room was stinking. The swimming pool had insects. The bathroom's shower didn't have a door. Very bad not recommended. One day stay is fine.The staffs are very less. The receptionist was the one who carried are stuff and the buffet most utensils are empty waste of money.There is one lady who opens the gate

1. Rooms are not well maintained. Washrooms are really horrible that you slip though it's dry. 2. Buffet breakfast is okay, not worth to take along with room 3. No maintenance of Swimming Pool 4. My real bad experience is with drinking water. They are filling already used plastic water bottle with RO and serving on the table and in room. I noticed and asked them on the same then they provided sealed bottle saying it's a mineral water and charged 30/- for the same. I took the photos too of how they are filling the already used bottle, but don't see an option here to add photos. 5. Veg Pulao tastes good. Advice - As a customers, we should crush the water bottle after it's used.

It was a nice stay. All staffs were very cooperative and helpful. Bathrooms were neatly maintained. Only thing that was irritating was they provided only two TV channels that too on demand. I had stayed in this property four years back. If I compare that stay with the current stay was a little disappointed. Will definitely choose Camelot for my next stay also Very friendly and considerate staff

The Hotel is a bit far from the town of Alleppey and hence a bit distant from a lot of popular sights. Bathroom ought to be cleaner, and better hygiene has to be maintained in the breakfast lounge. There were sambar stains on all the mats on the table tops. There were flies as well in the breakfast area. The staff were very friendly but the infrastructure was not upto the mark in terms of hygiene.
