Camel Man [Vijay Guest House] - Guest house in Bikaner - Bikaner, India

All fraud and rascals are handling this guest house. They have 2 room categories, once you book online and go there they will ask you for extra money just saying that we have deluxe rooms only otherwise you cancel the booking. Owner and might be their son have wasted my 2 hours just saying that you need to pay 1000 rooms extra.

Amazing experience with great hospitality, camel safari and jeep safari were the best of all and super delicious food served. Must visit for everyone travelling to bikaner.

The entire experience from start to finish was unforgettable. The accommodations are top notch and the food served is delicious. The garden and rooftop are a great place to hang out when you have downtime. The highlight of it all is the perfectly managed camel trek. If you are looking for a camel trek off the beaten path than the Camel Man is your guy. The guides are experienced but always allow you your own space to take in the serene desert flats.

We had such a nice stay! The Rooms are clean, bright and lovely and the owner and staff were the best! They were friendly and so nice to us and cooked us an awesome lunch and breakfast :)

It's a wonderful guest house... Food was amazing , they provide best camel safari nd camping , it is certified by lonely planet.... I had great tym there... They're so welcoming nd humble ppl I would love to visit again

Excellent guesthouse with very helpful and considerate staff. Booked an overnight camel safari with them (which was admittedly unimpressive, perhaps do that in Jaisalmer instead) and was very sick the next morning. I hadn't planned to stay in the hotel, but was more or less stuck there as I couldn't stop vomiting. Staff immediately gave me a room, brought me spiced lime water--apparently supposed to help with stomach issues, offered tea and food, and asked how I was feeling each time they encountered me. We did not address rates until after I was feeling better, so there was the opportunity to overcharge, but my bill was more than fair. When I left, the owner told me which bus to take to my next destination, and flagged down (and paid for!) a tuk tuk to the bus stop. Five stars for the guesthouse. Four star rating as I averaged with the three I'd give to the camel safari. Terrain is littered with trash, even at the most remote point on the safari (which actually doesn't feel particularly remote at all). No guide, just camel handlers who spoke so little English that they couldn't answer simple questions re: sights we passed. Some handlers conversed on their mobile phones while we were riding the camels, further reducing the chance that guests might actually have the experience of being away from civilization. Tents were shabby; mine had a broken zipper. No complaints from the handlers when I vomited in my tent in the morning, which was appreciated. Great dinner on the safari, decent live music, easy/convenient safari booking with the guesthouse staff.

Fake Pics on Website, Camelman was my worst experience in Rajasthan. They took us 15 kms away from city for tents and camel ride..... There were 2 types of tents available.... We were asked to stay in the tents which are smaller than normal tents with floor bedding . Tents and toilets are not even hygenic....(I've traveled all over and I've stayed in many rural tents) Moreover security is an issue there. Staff is cheap and owner literaly wanted to fight with me.... Because I was with my family and in his terrotary at lonely place. I din't had any other choice than to leave....

Camel man, the name define itself. From a single day trip to milti day desert exploration this is the only company in this area you can trust blindly. 5 stars for everything. Their knowledge, hospitality, friendly behavior, everything is great.
