Pretty decent food, we had ordered chicken biriyani and fried rice. The biriyani could have been a bit better but it was alright, the fried rice however was pretty tasty.
We ordered chicken biryani, chicken fry, porotta, sharja shake and fresh lime juice. The gravy with porotta was good in taste. Felt like quantity for biryani is less for mentioned rate. Usually this never happens but we had to wait for the bill for 10-12mins. But although place is good to hangout with friends as the place is nearer to the Amrita campus. They need to understand on managing the customers too.

After all the strenuous effort gone in my brother's admission at Amrita University, we decided to hit this place for lunch. Ordered 2 Pineapple Juice and a plate of Malabar Chicken Biryani. The ambience is fine, the food is good compared to the hostel mess (especially the dinner). The price is, well, meh. Overall, it is ok.

For an Amrita student at Amritapuri, this is the place where you go for tea and snacks, simply because the mess closes too early and the food there cannot hold an inch of the food provided here. It's a small space, so rush hours are a head ache, but
the food court has lots of options.. you can get milk sharbat , shakes of almost every flavour. The only place in vallikav where you can have exotic and dry fruits shake.
Best meals you can get in valikkavu. The shop has been known for its dosa , putt, kakka, natholi fry, fish fry and meals. The veg meals are offered at a rate of 45 rupees with 4 curries . The shop has no holidays. Food is available from 6 am to 11 pm
