Food is tasty and probably the best sit down restaurant in the area. Service is very good and gives you an excellent experience. On the downside, service wait times can become a bit long as their kitchen gets backed up. Make sure you double check your take away orders to ensure you have all the items ordered as we had an experience of one item missed in the bag. They did apologize for this and understand this can be due to the fact of high volume of orders and a new setup. Over the time I'm sure this will improve. They didnt reduce the amount of the missed item the next time we visited though I was expecting them to try this being a new establishment:)

Average food Good ambience and service We ordered chicken and beef biriyani ,both are not tasty .Its not like malabar biriyani. Its a different type Need to improve in taste

Calicut notebook is here in edappal too, I have previously been to their other branches but this was a delight to the eyes with traditional blend beautifully to fit in modern thoughts.I really loved the ambience, staff service and the neypayasam with ice cream was Hit !!It's located on the same floor as kids play centre.

We had a good (debatable ) dinner there. We visited around 9- 9:15 PM. We asked for Mutton chops, Appam (first took the order, then said it's not available), choice of chicken kabab, kulcha. But for our fortune none of them were available . Then we ordered porotta, mutton stew and there was anything new about it. I didn't feel it as good as much when we had a visit earlier on Ernakulam branch. Thanks

Best in town and a good option for a family gathering. Superb dishes especially the dragon chicken.

I had a chicken biriyani,one piece Pandanas chicken and a pineapple juice. CB was average but Pandanas chicken gave me a different experience. I didn't get that flavour before. Overall good.

Had one of the most delicious porotta ever. Good hospitality and great ambiance to have food in.

The place had a nice atmosphere, but the food and service were really disappointing. The prices for the food felt too high, especially considering the quality wasn't great. The staff also didn't seem to pay much attention. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone."
