This is a Thattukada set app hotel , food is good but atmosphere is very poor Just because the name of the hotel is Calicut, don't think that you will get Kozhikoden Biryani , An average biryani, though not that much When I ordered beef chili, they brought me beef fries , But it has a very good taste I ordered Beef Chilli after seeing someone's review, the supplier said they don't make it there at the beef chilli . I bought Pathiri to eat with beef fry, and lastly I ordered a Chicken Sixty Five and it also has a very good taste. Those who can eat food without any atmosphere can eat If the owner of this hotel has his mind, he can clean it again. There is no light inside, it is better not to mention the bathroom, the bathroom is so dirty.

One of the best places in Shornnur to have dinner... A lot of varieties of dishes are available here... All of them are very delicious and not that much costly too... A must place to have lunch also...

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at Calicut Biriyani & Fry with a friend. Our main order consisted of Porotta with Beef Fry. While the Porotta was just okay, the Beef Fry was an absolute delight. Its taste was nothing short of awesome, leaving a lasting impression on our taste buds. Having visited this restaurant several times before, I can confidently say that I never forget to order the Beef Fry, as it is truly exceptional. Calicut Biriyani & Fry offers a wide variety of non-vegetarian dishes, and while not every item is outstanding, I can vouch for the delectable taste of their beef preparations. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant enough, creating a decent dining atmosphere. However, there's room for improvement in terms of maintenance to elevate the overall experience further. Located on the main road side, the restaurant's accessibility is convenient. Yet, one challenge we faced was the difficulty in finding parking space in front of the restaurant. Nice food and service, We ordered porotta chicken curry and Chan masala for breakfast.Chicken curry and porotta was very good but chana masala needs some more improvement .Service was good, the staff was courteous but the ambience is not that commendable,there are fully dark patches and smoky colour on the walls andd fans possibly due to the charcoal burning during the preparation of grilled dishes.

This is not a big hotel, just a road side restaurant in minimalistic facilities. But I found their food delicious and hence the rating. Ordered duck roast dosa and pathiri. Pathiri was not hot but this was understandable as it was around midnight. The duck roast was delicious. Will visit again and try their koonthal roast and chicken varieties as they also seemed good by looks. Hope this hotel seves good food in future as well. Second visit : Again ordered duck roast and prawns masala. Food was delicious this time too. Will visit again.

Located near POTHUVAL JN, food quality is average, Seating is good, Not recommended for family .No Parking space , Park vehicle in road side in our own Risk .

Banana leave are old. Rice is Good Curry also good

Definitely not a place where you can take your family. The place is full of people hopping in after their bar sessions. The hygiene factor is also a main concern. The workers have pathetic cleanliness standards. They use the same parotta and bread baskets for all customers without even changing the banana leaf inside those. Most steel utensils are just dipped in a tub full of water and brought back for serving. Funny part is that all of this happens right in front of you and the owner doesn't care.
