Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital (CNMCH), colloquially known as Chittaranjan Hospital, is a public medical college and hospital located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1948 by the amalgamation of the National Medical Institute and Calcutta Medical Institute. CNMCH is one of the leading medical education and research institutions in India. This government hospital is very crowded and too busy near park circus railway station kolkata. Aslo this hospital is very unhygienic But the medicine and treatment provided here are quite good. Aslo there are facilities of sastho sathi card.

Medical facilities not so good. My patient and my family has experienced horrible things. In ENT surgery there was lack of oxygen cylinder when it required. Actually this the real scenario of our country's medical system. Common people is hopeless at their medical emergency.. But one last word- Yes its not so good but its free.

Calcutta National Medical College, I visited to get my scaling done in the dental department. I visited in a Saturday and the place wasn't very crowded like other days of the week. You can go and get a checkup any day except Sun because the hospital is closed on Sundays. You have the option to go and enter your name in the entry list till 2pm, post that the entry desks are closed and 2pm is the closing time for the day. The doctors and the staff were good and the dental department was quite clean compared to a dental hospital. The hospital and the college campuses are different. They're on different sides of road, so if you have any academic related questions, don't go to the hospital. Mostly people are unaware of where the departments are. Hope this review helps whoever is looking to visit.

This is the condition of our Government hospital, no maintenance no cleanliness, I have a request to west bengal government please do some quick action

This hospital is situated in Park Street area nearby 7th point. When I went to Fast Time there the place is very overcrowded. Comparison with other Govt Hospitals I found this hospital quite clean and tidy. We may know that government hospitals are very dirty and unclean but this hospital is much cleaner than that. For some reason I went to the emergency word with a friend for his problem I like their service very much. There is a government drug store which gives 54% discount on medicines. Outpatients and accompanying families They are accommodated. Howrah Station There is no difficulty in coming here from Sealdah Station. Because buses and taxis are affordable and available. There are various shops outside the hospital and a canteen inside the hospital for food. Overall I can say the service there is good and their usage is not good at all but a lot of staffs are good. There are also facilities for medical students to practice and study. Many students from West Bengal and those who are qualified from outside are studying here in the merit list. I will really appreciate if you like this review.

Need to improve a lot. 1. Over crowded. 2. Ignoring the patients which delay the treatments. 3. Blood reports or etc come late. 4. Cleanliness is required. Even i saw cockroches were roaming in the patients ward. Few doctors are excellent but their subordinates or nurses make it worse for patient treatments.
