Calcutta Lodge - Hotel in Suri - Birbhum, India

I stayed for few days. Experience and staying was homely feel. Reason its big house of olden days, but with modern amenities provided with Ac Tv and geyser whatever required for guest plus also long term traveller. Staff were helpful and courteous always willing to help and provide assistance. With car parking facility as well as seperate accommodation for drivers also. Western washroom also. Infront of the main road so all necessary stuffs are available plus sweets shop. Nearby everything available at reasonable price. Accomodation is affordable. If requested also you will get outside food by the staff. Well maintained and well cleaned.

Location very near to bus stand and hotel service persons are very good... Room little bit old but ok parking also available. For working professional.

I am from Kerala and visited this place on recommendation from a friend of mine. It's a very budget friendly place with posh AC rooms with attached balconies and washrooms (although it can't be understood from the outside appearance). They don not charge unnecessary taxes and home made Bengali style food is available at very cheap rates(4 of us had dinner for Rs. 150). The staff is also very cordial , room service was on time.
