Calcutta Bistro Newtown (Continental | Indian | Chinese | Bar) - Restaurant in New Town - 24 Paraganas North, India

The food was extremely tasty. We tried Butter garlic prawns which is to die for, then Grilled Fish in lemon butter sauce, Gandharaj Kathi Murgi, Prawn Vetki twist and 2 more dishes I packed and took home such as Prawn Tempura and Fish in coriander sauce. The drinks were also good, in frame, Blue Berry Mojito and Summer Cooler. Both the ambience and service was extremely cordial.

Food was just awesome... Tried continental .... Chicken Steak with Mushroom sauce, Fish in lemon butter sauce, Chicken Sizzler, Pesto Pasta Salad and Lasooni Kebab. Each food was awesome and good value for money. Just one negative point - the sizzler had rice which was unexpected. A proper sizzler never has rice.

This is best Resturant in entire Newtown and Saltlake area I had experienced so far. We ordered 6 different items and each was so tasty. Chokh buje yammy feel chilo. I don't know why but felt extraordinary. Will go again to check if I am correct attaching some pics

I had visited their Jadavpur outlet before so wanted to visit the Newtown outlet too, I went there to celebrate a special occasion and really appreciate the food quality and taste but the only disappointed part is I saw 2 drunk people were shouting among each other which was kinda annoying when you are in a fine dining restaurant and specially when you are with your family, I would suggest avoid going after 9:30 pm and secondly our order taker was very confused he said he will remind me to order our packing food but eventually forgot to take the order and when we reminded him he be like "did you said anything before " even after taking the order later and packing the food again after 5 minutes he came to us asking do we need the packing order .. I said it's already packed you only punched the packing order. Anyways overall and service & food is good FYI Zomato gold accepted

Food was very good..also the hospitality and the stuff behavior was very nice..must recommended for two cost can be nearly 800 to 1000 ..

Loveeeeeee The Fooodddd This place I have revisited N-number of times nd I am yet to be dissapointed. This time we went on for a Kebab Flavor nd opted for the Non Veg Kabab Platter nd Butter garlic Prawn with some fresh lime soda. Finished the mean with some caramel custard and Hot gulab Jamun. Overall happy vibes but service still lacks the flair I have seen in some other restaurants in the area.

A good place for a multi-cuisine experience and the continental food we tried are not that great. But the mocktail were yummy.
