Wanted to try Italian and this place really made us happy. The Pizzas are a must have here. Thin crust, the sweet smell of olive oil did make the Pizza delicious. The service was good. Considering the amount served the prices are okay too. The ambience gives u a feel of an Italian cafe of the 90s. However, it would have been better if the space inside would have been a bit bigger.
Visited cafe tonino at one horizon, Gurugram for the 1st time. It's a nice outlet, spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside is humid though. Inside is good. There was hardly any waiting on a Friday but they gave us a table close to the washroom . We waited a bit to get it changed. Food is very good. They served complimentary bread basket. Nice and soft breads with salsa and butter. Thin crust pizza integrale was delicious. Just rightly baked. Whole wheat thin crust, topped with basil and sun dried tomatoes and much more was good. Sandwich panino con verdure was scrumptious and good served with crinkle potato fries or Cajun fries and a slice of watermelon and orange. With olive tapenade or olive sauce which was good. Cold cappuccino topped with icecream was good too. Cappuccino fredo. They gave us a complimentary dessert a tiramisu. Quite delicious The server, the manager, the chef all had a smiling face and checked with us if the food and service were good. Thats a nice gesture. Ashmit, the one serving our table was very nice and professional. Serving with s smile. Gave personalised service. Gave some additional fries and bread for my neice. Ashmit Gave us a complimentary dessert without even asking for it. Good ambience good food. Liked it. Worth a visit. AC can be more effective. We enjoyed!
It is a nice place to enjoy good Italian food. We were welcomed with a bread basket along with fresh salad and olive tapenade. We ordered the chef recommended Garlicpeno pizza. It was thin crust and had tons of Jalapenos on it. The pizza was delicious and had a strong garlic flavour. Along with pizza we had an iced cappuccino fredo. It was decent in taste. Would definitely visit again to try other dishes.
