This place has classy ambience with delicious food be it indian cuisine or italian. I must say quantity they provide is worth money. Enjoyed well:)
Awesome place to dine in. Went for lunch, very tasty food. And great view. Little bit costly but taste is worth the money spent here. Must visit if you are visiting Shimla.
Loved loved this cafe! I came twice during my stay in Shimla- great ambiance, staff, service, food, music, everything! The only thing they don't have is WiFi but I just used a hotspot and worked on my computer. Would definitely recommend.
Elegant restaurant located on heart of famous street Mall Road street area in Shimla . Very good staff . Ambience is beautiful as well as views . We got lucky to have a best table in cafe 1873 . This large and popular cafe is located on the first floor, and has good comfortable chairs and tables overlooking a fine view. The menu is all-vegetarian, and encompasses a wide range of cuisines and dishes, from pasta to risotto, popular North Indian and South Indian dishes, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and more. We were here only for coffee and cake: the cappuccino and Americano were both good, and came with a complimentary (very good) coconut cookie. The blueberry cheesecake was a huge portion, though nice. Service was adequate.
The place used to have CCD (Cafe Coffee Day before) but now it is a restraunt named "Cafe 1873". The food is good. Ambience is also great, I little pricey I think.

So this cafe is situated on the mall road, right next to the Gaiety theater. The view is really good as you can see the hustle and bustle of the crowd down under. They have a bakery in the lower floor where u can get cake and other sweet desserts.
