I had the most incredible experience at this cafe on the cliff next to the ocean! This place truly offers the best of both worlds - breathtaking ocean views and gourmet dishes in a five-star style. The moment I arrived, I was captivated by the panoramic vista of the endless sea. The food here is a work of art. Each dish was a delightful journey for the taste buds, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From fresh seafood to delectable desserts, every bite was a culinary masterpiece. Sunsets at this cafe are unparalleled. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while sipping on a perfectly brewed cup of coffee is an experience I'll cherish forever. The staff were exceptional, providing impeccable service, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my visit. In short, this cafe is the best place for anyone seeking a luxurious dining experience coupled with awe-inspiring ocean views. I can't recommend it enough. I'll be returning soon for more unforgettable moments by the sea.

Great place ! A great place to get out from the busy city sounds and noise ! Chill and warm vibe ! The Food is great ! With a separate breakfast menu till 11am and general menu till 10pm . I prefer you guys to go around 530pm to witness the sun at the edge seats ! And after which a great candle light dinner atmosphere. Open space with no protection from elements ! And a close outdoor space is also available! Food is delivered reasonably fast ! Great taste and quantity! Beware ! The night drive to the place is a bit spooky due to no street lights ! Soo prefer you guys follow the gps location till the spot ! Parking is available and inside ! Bathroom and washrooms available!

Such a nice place to eat and watch the beautiful sea. This place is really very close to my heart and this place makes me wanna visit Varkala again. I can't even think of Varkala without this beautiful cafe. Their food is also very tasty and their staffs are also very kind and they make you fall in love with this place more. I wish this place stays the same forever

The ambience of this place is something you won't find in most places. A beautiful cafe located on the cliff overlooking the sea. Make it a point to visit this place during sunset and you won't be disappointed. They have very few tables near the edge of the cliff so make sure you go early and get it.

Trip is life is a must try cafe in Varkala. Very Peaceful ambience as its detached from north cliff . I believe its one of the best place to enjoy sunset in varkala and have some food. We tried their Chicken Soup, Sea food Chowder Soup , Caramel and Red Velvet Frappe and Pull up Beef Sandwich. Everyting had its own quality and very delicious . You have a special stairs down to a kind of private beach where you can spend your time with your loved ones. This is a must visit spot in varkala

This serene and exquisite cafe in the South cliff of Varkala beach, is a must visit! - Golden hour here is mesmerizing. Try to catch the sunset when you visit. - lovely outdoor seating, tiered with stairs. The night lights also enhance the ambience. - Food is scrumptious. Tried the Roasted chicken leg, Penne Arrabiata, Cappucino and Mango mojito. - Prices are on the higher side. - Getting hold of a corner table is no easy feat, as they are in high demand for the best view of the cliff overlooking the sea. - there are stairs without railing that lead down to the beach. Be cautious as after sunset this will be quite dark. - crowded during weekends, especially with people eager to click photos. (People should be mindful not to intervene in the personal space and disrupt the calm sunset experience of others!).

Beautiful view of the beach and the horizon, definitely would be a beautiful sunset as the other reviews say, but this is not exclusive to this cafe or the /\ shaped room adjacent to the cafe, this view is very much the same all over the cliffs above the beach in varkala. That aside, cafe is minimalistic, rustic, nothing bad about it, but lacks the panache of a high end cafe. Our order was as follows grilled cheese sandwich, indian cottage cheese sandwich, chicken nuggets, Americano and Lemon tea. Grilled cheese sandwich in the menu mentions cheddar cheese, if you're going to charge INR 250/- for a grilled cheese sandwich you ought to use proper cheddar cheese instead of slice cheese and also grilled cheese sandwich is a very common and easy to make sandwich. The cottage cheese sandwich with onions was okie, not too bad. The issue with both the sandwiches was that the bread edges were dry and the fillings hadn't reached there. Chicken nuggets without a doubt frozen, nothing wrong with frozen nuggets, but when you charge as much the quality ought to be reflected in the product served. And since they're frozen, the amount of fillers that goes into maintaining the texture is uncanny. Americano was not too bad. Lesson learnt is that like all the over rated places, we need to stay away from places where social conformity is the norm in the reviews to not just be disappointed but also to not burn a hole in your pocket. The ambience is decent and the waiters are alright, although they could smile a little more. Bill paid INR 1,239/- , would have been still okie if it was about INR 700/- All the best.
