Cafe TATO - Fast food restaurant in Vasco da Gama - South Goa, India

Nice place to visit with family. Good quality food and decently priced. The waiters were Goans and knew they're cuisine and had some wonderful suggestions. We had tomato soup, crispy chicken, squids golden, mutton and naans. Will definitely visit again if I'm in Vasco

I had the pleasure of discovering this hidden gem of a cafe recently, and it's safe to say that it exceeded all my expectations. The star of the show - their Pav Bhaji. It's not just a dish; it's a revelation. The buttery goodness is beyond compare. The flavors were rich, and the consistency was spot on. It was like a warm, comforting hug for my taste buds. The rest of the Goan snacks on their menu were equally impressive. The samosas were crispy and filled with flavorful goodness. Besides the cosy atmosphere and the delicious food, is the friendly and attentive staff. They go out of their way to ensure that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Must visit.

The food we ordered had a dead cockroach inside. Upon informing the girl at the reception via phone she seemed casual about it and asked us to throw it out. When confronted on call she became silent and then stopped picking up calls. Extremely disappointed when having food at this joint for last so many years hygiene levels are bad.

We had talli , at the so called fine dining Tato Vasco, Kindly do'nt opt for it. The fish modso , was horrible ,so was the pathetic service. Unlikely to ever recommend or to go again.

Been visiting for the past six years. You know you can depend on them. They have a good range of breakfast snacks as well as veg & nonveg meal options. Indian & Goan are their specialities. Reasonably priced, even though air conditioned. Centrally located in Vasco, in a quiet residential area. Street parking. Had Sea food Sweet Corn Soup & Butter garlic squid for a quickie lunch. Total bill Rs.600 for two items. Both were yum, served fast & hot.

Went here to try out the South Indian breakfast cuisine this time. We ordered Masala Dosa, Cheese Onion Uttapam and Veg Cutlet. Masala Dosa was the one of the best I tasted till date . Veg Cutlet was the worst and would never recommend it, It had stale veggies and was tasteless. Even the sambar was bit sour, not sure the reason for it. Never expected this from such a well known cafe chain.

This place is located in Vasco city and is easily accessible. Visited during Vasco saptah. Tried seafood and chicken items. Taste was good but seafood items had little kess quantity. Chicken items had good quantity. Overall would recommend this place for family or friends outing.

One of the best pure vegetarian restaurants in Vasco da Gama. Fully air conditioned and very clean. The most hygienic and decorated restaurant. The staff is very well dressed & friendly The service is damn fast and the pricing is reasonable. The food quality is excellent. If you are looking for a decent pure vegetarian restaurant then you must visit this one. They even serve ice cream. The only negative is parking area as it's very difficult to get a place to park your car. It is very close to the Damodar temple and the St Andrews Church too.
