It was my second day in Goa and Google recommended this place to me. A small and generous hotel and super busy as well. I had ordered; Ross Omlette Chicken Gravy and Pav Aloo bhaji and Mirchi bhaji Chai Butterfly Pav. Ross Omlette, chicken gravy is something that one should definitely try out especially if you are an outsider. The gravy is coconut based and is super yum . The gravy is common for both Ross Omlette and Chicken dish. I found the aloo and mirchi bhajji to be okayish but one can try it out. The butterfly Pav was recommended to me by a local and he mentioned that it is freshly baked and delivered every morning at the hotel. Indeed the taste was different and was a new experience for me as well. Chai was ok for me. All in all as a final review the place is a must visit. Price wise it is super affordable. Food is tasty. Must Must visit when in Goa and specially if you are in Calangute side do drop by
The place has a great vibe, location and the perfect setting to be a blockbuster. The ros omelette is a big disappointment. It lacked flavour and soul. I also tried the vada and that too lacked the same.
This Goan Cafe at Saligao junction is a must stop if you passing by that road and want to grab some goan snacks. Very popular among the locals and rightly so because the food is absolutely lipsmacking. Serves different types of bhaji and pao along with non veg delicacy such as Chicken Xacuti (must try) and Ross Omelette (must try). They also have hot snacks such as Goan Samosa, Mirchi, Batatwada etc. Highly recommended to try Ross Omelette, the xacuti gravy is amazing. Pair it with a spicy mirchi and wash it down with a nice glass of tea. If you want veg option go for Mushroom Bhaji. The place is so famous among locals that they run out of stock by 5-6pm in evening. Do give it a try.
Best chicken xacuti and Ross omlette in sangolda This humble Goan snack centre is frikin amazing . Right place to eat a Ross omlette and chicken plate. The breads are so fresh and hot! Goan local breads is half the experience. So tasty, so delicious, just like a wow! They had run of samosas. But next time for sure!
Hands down the best Ross Omlette in North Goa. Perfect place for breakfast or even lunch.
If you want some local taste then you must visit this place..Ross omlate is the best thing I've ever had..mirchi bhaji was good bt not upto the mark as I heard so much about it..place is bit small with too much of crowd. You need to be very patient. When we visited they were facing some issue with lights, so it made the atmosphere very hot n humid. Overall experience was good.
What is so great in there xacuti , check out the mess in the kitchen and hygiene of the place !! Surprisingly our goans just eat anything to fill their stomach , just one thing on the menu for people who don't know where to eat or how to cook. A bad choice of those who rated it with hands up or down )))
One of my favorite place for Ros Omlet... which is a very comman street food in Goa. If you have not tried then you should and specially at Samrat Restaurant... highly recommend it's a small breakfast or evening snack place I always go for breakfast if I'm around saligao. Rash omlet with goan pao and nice hot Mirchi. The ambiance is just like a road side tea stalls are is Goa where the locals go and chit chat. It's near the Saligao Church just before the junction if ur coming from Sangolda, Porvorim on the right side.
We just stopped for some tea and realised the place has a lot more to offer. We tried ros omelette, bhajjis, chilli chicken with some pavs and buns. Loved everything. Right opposite to a nice green fields.
It's a beautiful place run by a local resident of Goa and keeping up with the lively environment with her paintings & hefty meals. Food is fresh & tasteful and use of healthy ingredients is appreciating. We had good breakfast here.
Nicest stay that I have been in Goa. Great staff and very very good chef. Always comes at your service to serve on your interest. Nicest and spacious rooms.
Boutique Hotel located amidst the peaceful hills on route to Calangute. Ideal for Honeymooners and all kinds of Leisure traveller's that want to be away from the hustle & bustle of North Goa and yet be in the heart of the coastal belt....The ITC bran
