Food 4/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 3/5 It's okay for college kids and office lunches. Only specific types of food is great like chicken in oyster sauce, biryani (bit sweet), and keema. Very tight seating arrangement. No ac section.
Very best morning brake fast specially mutton khima fry. Very tasty & delicious. Best place to have brakefast. The location is near Welingkar college. It's olso known as snow point. Best nonveg breakfast in matunga. Service is little bit slow over all it's good. Food is awesome.

An amazing place for classic food lovers. This cafe is famous among college goers around Matunga area. We had ordered Mutton kheema, Crispy chicken and scrambled egg in daal. Our bill was more than Rs. 750 so we got a waffle of our choice for free. Mutton kheema was great. Crispy chicken wasn't that crispy but still good. The scrambled egg in daal didn't have enough salt but you can always add more. The only problem was that, the orders were taking longer than usual.
An Irani restaurant which hasn't changed thank god it's flavour and ambience giving me the nostalgia is Cafe Gulshan. Little did I know that I'd find a old friend today there. The mutton kheema biryani with ice cream soda is a combo from past. The quantity is sufficient for two even if you take half Biryani. Even butter chicken Biryani is awesome. Top it up with caramel custard the old school way and you have a winner. All in all good value for time money and energy. I vouch for this place.
It is Irani cafe type of restraunt. Next to welingkar institute of management. It has variety in the menu. The things I would recommend to try over here:- Mutton kheema fry. Mutton kheema with scrambled eggs. Chicken Manchurian rice. Chicken Triple rice. Bun muska with chai. Many lunch items are also available which you can try out. Overall a recommended place for quick bites,snacks & lunch. Ratings :- Service - 8/10 Taste - 9/10 Quality - 9/10 Value for money - 8/10
Keema pav at its best Best place to have morning breakfast after cricket practice at Matunga Gymkhana. Not suggested for veg foodies. Better option would be hotel ramashray but there will be a big queue.
The cafe is conveniently located near some famous colleges like ruia, podar and welingkar's, it's also at a walkable distance from matunga railway station. Didn't experiment with the order, just had a manchow soup and kheema pav. Taste wise soup was okay, not the authentic chinese taste but the kheema was bang on. The Pav was fresh, soft and was perfect to scoop the deliciously cooked kheema. Must go for a quick bite as the service is pretty good.
